the last 3 years I've played in a big member-guest golf tournament at my old home course
almost everyone in the field has done pretty well with their business or investing so when crypto would come up there's ALWAYS someone who would ask:
>is it too late to buy Bitcoin?
>do you like XRP??
>what coin should I buy?
but not anymore
not a single person in any of the 6 matches and I probably talked to 50+ other people throughout the weekend
no comments about prices being down or that memecoin they lost money on or whether the token they've been holding will recover
no one was still bullish or giga bearish...just not interested at all if the topic came up
we have officially reached peak apathy stage
@PeterSchiff this dude has the biggest hard on for saylor. i’m all for being bullish on gold / vocal about the things you support, but why is not liking strategy or btc his biggest personality trait.
"What if the model companies do this?" is the new "What if Google does this?" I.e. the meaningless question investors ask that shows either that they're stupid or that they dislike you and are looking for ways to find fault.
@gaindalf07@PeterSchiff@saylor have you ever paid with gold? actually curious.
have you ever tried to bring any significant amount of gold to another country ?
have you ever lended your gold to make apy?
what’s the most “useful” part of it that you’ve actually taken advantage of?
@gaindalf07@PeterSchiff@saylor i love you brother, i don’t hate gold.
don’t need to hate btc to love gold.
it also doesn’t need to be a personality trait.
listen up DOOF.
lmao “no” is straight cope dude…
gold’s 1-2% new supply every single year is dilution, forever. btc is at ~0.8% now and heading straight to zero with a hard 21m cap. that’s the diff between inflationary boomer rocks and actual hard money
your 50yr charts? gold barely beats inflation. btc printed more real wealth in 15yrs than gold did in centuries
miners pivoting to ai? means the halving is doing exactly what it’s supposed to …subsidy dies, fees take over, network is more secure than ever
gold has “worth” from tradition.
btc has it from being strictly scarcer and better money. basic math bro 😂 numbers are hard, i know
