Worcester has to be the most underrated course in the state. 1925 US Open host and original Ryder cup host. Absolutely the type of course I’d happily play daily even with the wind I’ve been warned about. IMO it answers the question “what if Whitinsville was 18 holes?” Amazing

@opheliamuses I also read it in high school. Their Eyes is the only full length novel I’ve read of hers.

I know her more as an essayist. I’m doing research on French Caribbean history currently and she wrote a lot about Haiti but that’s kinda niche and scary (stuff about zombies, etc.)!
