@FreddiePye_ It was like Pep purposefully wanted to be a bit shit on multiple levels in that game. Maybe he wanted to put the wind up the team with those 3 big games incoming? Pep 4D chess? ๐ค๐ณ๐ฌ
@AJones08711409@OptaJoe Nobody thought they needed Grealish MORE than a striker, but he was necessary & available, and Kane/a suitable striker wasn't (at least not for the ยฃ City wanted to pay). Why do people find this so difficult to understand? ๐คจ๐ค
@sussydaka @jacktgrealish Pretty clear, however, that City needed Grealish. If he was superfluous to requirements, seems unlikely he would have started every game this season & have played as many minutes as anyone in the squad. City need a striker AS WELL, not in stead of.
@mickscreams2112@SamLee Delap was playing in the PL2 match (where he scored), maybe to get him match time as he's just back from injury, rather than having him just sit on the bench.
@Muhammadsadek20@SamLee Pep didn't create a problem. The media did, whipping up rival fans. The past couple of days have probably been exhausting for Pep and he hadn't even said anything wrong.
