Every veteran brings leadership, resilience, and the ability to solve problems under pressure. Sometimes, what they need next is the right mentor and the right opportunity.
That's why the Robert Irvine Foundation was proud to support @DAVHQ Patriot Boot Camp in Salt Lake City, where Let's Chow Program Lead Jordan Foley served as a mentor during Mentor Day. By connecting with veteran founders one-on-one, he shared practical guidance, encouragement, and real-world insights to help them grow their businesses.
That same belief is at the heart of our Let's Chow Food Truck Program. Beyond culinary training, the program helps veterans and military spouses develop the business skills, mentorship, and support needed to build sustainable food businesses and continue serving their communities in a new way.
When veterans have access to the right resources and people who believe in them, they don't just build businesses. They create lasting impact for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Thank you to DAV Patriot Boot Camp for investing in the next generation of veteran entrepreneurs.

Supporting veterans means more than responding during a crisis. It means ensuring they are surrounded by people who know how to recognize warning signs, start difficult conversations, and help them access support before a crisis occurs.
As part of our commitment to the Face the Fight Coalition, the Robert Irvine Foundation works alongside communities across the country to provide practical suicide prevention training, de-escalation techniques, and personal wellness planning that equips veterans, service members, families, first responders, and community partners with tools that can help save lives.
Our recent visit to Kansas City demonstrated what is possible when organizations unite around a shared purpose. At the University of Kansas School of Law, participants gathered to strengthen their ability to support veterans through suicide prevention, de-escalation, and Crisis Response (Bad Day) Planning. We also met with Veterans Treatment Courts in Douglas, Johnson, and Leavenworth counties to explore opportunities to expand this training and reach even more veterans.
The week concluded with a day-long workshop hosted by the University of Kansas, where veterans strengthened their own Crisis Response Plans and learned practical strategies for navigating difficult days before they become emergencies.
When veterans are surrounded by informed families, engaged community leaders, and trained professionals, they are better positioned to find support, stay connected, and continue moving forward. That's the power of working together.

In the words of veteran Rob Lyday, one thing you cannot prepare or train for is healing. Our Robert Irvine Foundation programming, including events like the physically challenging Cateran YOMP, is designed to create environments where our heroes and their family members can process past events and loss alongside others who may share similar life experiences. These moments foster personal growth and healing, while also honoring those who are no longer walking beside us and acknowledging the sacrifices they made.

Each day, many service members wake up far from home and the people they love. It’s a life they've accepted, but not an easy one.
Through military base visits led by @RobertIrvine, we aim to bring moments of connection, encouragement, and honest conversations around mental health and the needs of today’s service members.
🏌️♂️ Fore the win and the cause!
The Cognizant Classic Birdies for Charity program is back, and the Robert Irvine Foundation is proud to be participating. An individual who guesses the exact number of birdies for the tournament (or closest to without going over) will have the chance to win a grand prize of $10,000. The winner may choose to keep the prize or donate it to a participating charity of their choice, amplifying the impact of their support. @the_cognizant@PGANatl #BirdiesforCharity
When you give through Birdies for Charity, 100% of your donation supports our mission, and your impact goes even further thanks to a $100,000 bonus pool that increases funds for participating nonprofits.
Your gift helps us support food, wellness, community, and financial resources for our nation’s service members, veterans, and first responders when and where they need it most.

We couldn't be prouder to see @RobertIrvine leading the charge to make sure the @USArmy is well-fed! In this recent interview on CBS Saturday Morning, Chef Irvine explains the work he's doing to help reimagine US Army's dining halls and food options which have been deemed inadequate for today's modern soldiers. @cbssaturday
An additional battle the Army shouldn't have to fight? An obesity problem.
According to Lt. General Christopher Mohan, US Army soldiers currently eat only 25% of the meals they are entitled to on base due to displeasure with the food offerings, often opting for pricey fast-food options that lack nutrition. Chef Irvine's Victory Fresh concept will bring high-quality cooked meat, seasonal produce, fresh salads and wraps, and accessible grab-and-go meals to soldiers on base.
"Let's give them what they deserve on their plate so they can do what we need them to do when they're out there. That's my fight, and I'm good with that!" - Chef Irvine

Reflection. Reunification. Reconnection. When combat units serve together, they become a family. Yet too often, that bond fades as service members transition to civilian life.
Through Reuniting the Brave, the Robert Irvine Foundation creates space for brothers to come back together, and for Gold Star Families to honor the memory of their loved ones alongside those who served with them.
We spoke with participants before and after Reuniting the Brave events to better understand their sense of connection and support. Before attending, just 43% said they would reach out to a struggling peer. Afterward, that number rose to 86%, with 89% reporting a stronger sense of connection to their unit.
This shift in mindset helps rebuild the support systems our heroes rely on, reminding them they are never alone.
