Reducing veteran suicide requires more than awareness. It requires action.
Earlier this month, the @AmericanLegion, Columbia Lighthouse Project, and the Robert Irvine Foundation came together to provide veterans and their families with practical tools that can help during life's most difficult moments. @C_SSRS@WeFaceTheFight
Participants learned how to create a Crisis Response Plan, or "Bad Day Plan," a personalized resource that helps identify warning signs, navigate challenging situations, and access support when it's needed most.
Nearly 100 members of the New Jersey American Legion Family participated, demonstrating a shared commitment to ensuring no veteran has to face a crisis alone.
Together, we can all #BeTheOne.

It’s time to set the record straight about some of the noise surrounding the Take Care of America’s Veterans Act and how it cuts veterans disability compensation.
Call your Member of Congress today to let them know that the best way to take care of America’s veterans is to stop this legislation until cuts to earned benefits are removed.

Transitioning from military service often means building a new mission and, for some veterans, that mission is entrepreneurship.
Through the Let's Chow Food Truck program, veteran-owned culinary businesses gain opportunities to grow, connect with customers, and build sustainable careers doing what they love.
One recent example is Calavera Coffee, which brought its veteran-owned business to SOF Week and connected with members of the military community who understand the value of supporting those who have served.
By helping veteran entrepreneurs access opportunities and expand their reach, Let's Chow empowers veterans to turn their passion for food into thriving businesses and lasting success beyond service.
Congratulations to Calavera Coffee on a successful SOF Week and thank you to @GlobalSOF for supporting the military community and the veteran-owned businesses that continue to serve in new ways.
This week, we fed 300 airmen at @DyessAFBase giving them a chance to sit down together -- to connect, recharge, and be reminded that the communities they protect are paying attention. @RobertIrvine#BreakingBreadwithHeroes
Grateful to @optimum Business for making yesterday possible.
And to the service members at Dyess. Thank you for what you do every day.
Food does more than fill a plate. It brings people together.
For service members, veterans, first responders, and their families, sharing a meal can create connection, strengthen relationships, and support overall well-being.
That's why food is at the heart of so many Robert Irvine Foundation programs. Guided by Chef @RobertIrvine's experience as a veteran, chef, and longtime advocate for the military community, our food programs help participants build healthier habits, learn practical nutrition skills, and connect with others around the table.
From cooking demonstrations and nutrition education to shared meals that honor those who serve, we use food as a tool to strengthen community and support healthier, more connected lives.
After military service ends, many veterans lose the daily connection and camaraderie that once surrounded them.
That's why Reuniting the Brave matters.
One veteran spouse described the impact this way:
"We all come back to life in a way when we are brought back together. Yes, we live our lives and can be happy, but there's an extra spark that gets ignited when the Marines reunite with each other."
Through Reuniting the Brave, veterans reconnect with the people who know their story because they lived it too.

Three years of showing up, leaning in, and working together for veterans.
Face The Fight is what it is today because of the people who made this mission their own.
Thank you.

"It's been six months, but it's just a jumping-off point. We're just getting started."
Over the last six months, veterans participating in Mission: VetFit powered by EōS Fitness committed to showing up for themselves and their health. @GoEOSfit
With coaching, accountability, and support, participants built healthier habits, gained strength, improved key health markers, and proved that meaningful change happens one step at a time.
Every participant started from a different place. Each faced their own challenges. What united them was a commitment to keep moving forward.
Mission: VetFit wasn't about reaching a finish line. It was about building a foundation for long-term wellness and creating momentum that continues long after the program ends.

Strength isn't about carrying everything alone.
PTSD can affect anyone who has experienced trauma, including service members, veterans, and first responders.
On PTSD Screening Day, we encourage you to take five minutes to check in with yourself. The VA offers a free, confidential PTSD self-screening that can help you better understand what you're experiencing and identify next steps if support is needed.
Seeking help isn't a sign of weakness. It's one of the strongest things you can do.
You're not alone, and effective treatments are available.

With support from #FTF, @IVMFSyracuseU and Equitable Analytics developed MapReach, a tool that helps communities identify gaps, understand local #veteran needs, and strengthen support where it can make the greatest impact.
Because better outcomes start with better information.
Supporting a veteran means being ready for the moments that matter most.
@STRONGSTARTrain's evidence-based workshops give caregivers, providers, families, and peers practical tools to help before a crisis occurs.

They flew in from bases around the world. They spent four days tackling the real challenges facing military families. Then they stood in front of senior Department of War leaders and presented their solutions.
These aren't just teens. They're the next generation of the military community and they showed up.
Robert had the honor of closing out their week at the Joint Service Teen Council Summit in Arlington. 25 teens. 350,000 military dependents represented. One room full of people who get it.
To the JSTC class of 2026: we see you. Keep going.
Thomas paused somewhere in the Scottish Highlands and gave a thumbs up.
What the camera didn't capture was the moment a few miles earlier, when he wasn't sure he could keep going.
A Marine Corps veteran who answered the call after 9/11, Thomas hit a wall during the Yomp. He called his family. His son told him to say a prayer, pick up his bag, and keep moving.
So he did.
"It meant that I can still do tough things. It meant that I can find that extra gear to keep going."
54 miles. Every step felt earned.
And somewhere in the middle of the Scottish Highlands, Thomas remembered something he thought he'd lost.
Purpose doesn't retire. Neither does he.

Proud to partner with Chef @RobertIrvine, the @rirvinefound, and @The_USO to honor the service members and families of USO Fort Campbell ❤️ Ahead of our first TN store opening, military families were the first to enjoy Wawa favorites at a "Breaking Bread with Heroes" event ☕👏
Military service comes with sacrifices that many people never see. Behind every uniform is a human being navigating challenges, uncertainty, pressure, and moments of doubt.
That is why @RobertIrvine and the Robert Irvine Foundation remain committed to supporting the whole individual through connection, nourishment, wellness, and community. When we take care of people, we help create the opportunity for them to heal, grow, lead, and continue performing at their highest potential.
Stories like this remind us why that mission matters:
“Thank you, Robert Irvine, for continuing to support the troops all over the world. I was deployed in ‘17 when I first met you. I was in a rough place in life. I was ready to quit on a 17 year career. Your team absolutely changed many lives that day just by showing us that you cared enough to be there and break bread with us. I will always pay it forward the best way I can.”
