In January 2008, Israel tightened its blockade on GAZA, and halted fuel entry. Gaza’s power plant ran out of fuel and had to stop production entirely around January 20.
Egyptian football legend Mohamed Aboutrika scored against Sudan on January 26, 2008, during the Africa Cup of Nations and revealed a shirt reading “Sympathize with Gaza” during his celebration.
Would any footballer in this World Cup do the same?
@yrnsiri Compare all of that to a genocide, no food, no water, 2700 blood lines wiped from the Gazan civil registry, death by land, air, sea, man made and nature, the sound of missiles and drones. We are living in luxury compared to Gaza
@mehdirhasan We’ve learned nothing even after two years of genocide. Palestinians have endured every form of death and suffering for over 78 years, yet we can’t stomach minor discomfort, even when it could help limit the damage inflicted by a reckless, unhinged figure in power in the US.
The forest was shrinking, but the trees kept voting for the Axe, for the Axe was clever and convinced them that because his handle was made of wood, he was one of them
@jakeshieldsajj Keep in mind Jake that the governments in place over said “Sunni” countries are there to muzzle and gag their populations from ever moving against the United Statess’ will or perceived interests
The Qur’an has everything that mankind needs to prosper. The sooner Muslims return to their Final Miracle (the Qur’an) the sooner Justice prevails. And only through justice can you achieve peace.
@KatKanada_TM@MercifulMessage Allah states that if Muhammad ﷺ were to fabricate or alter revelation, Allah would sever his aorta. This shows that the Qur’an is from Allah alone, that Muhammad ﷺ is fully accountable to Him, and that the message is not of his own creation.
