@CerneyStephanie@J5_Sports1 77k does not “round up” to “80k+” people.
Starting to understand why America thinks it’s won the war in Iran 30 times, the appetite for lies and cognitive dissonance is enormous.
@MikeJones8912@TheBuckeyeNut Stanford alumni founded Google, Nike, Netflix and Nvidia. The CEO of General Motors is a Stanford alum. They've produced 4 Supreme Court justices and 13 Nobel Prize winners (none of them in tree hugging). And John Elway.
@Joeyrandomguy@TheBuckeyeNut Stanford-USC used to be a big rivalry (remember when Harbaugh coached Stanford, they were darn good). Stanford-Hawai'i, not so much. :-|
Naturally people are less motivated to go see Stanford play random opponents from halfway across the world (i.e. the ACC)
@PeteThamel these judges are out of control… the idea that no organization has the right to set their own rules for participation is ludicrous and lawless. Lawlessness is what these judges stand for (except when it comes to their own power, which they think is unchecked)
@50ElevenTimes the SEC’s poor bowl record vs the Big 8 was entirely about two teams: Nebraska, and, not Oklahoma, but Mizzou.
As Big 8 members, Nebraska went 10-2 vs the SEC in bowl games; Mizzou 5-2.
