@NickNemo17@HML_Compounder Nick, I genuinely appreciate all who are interested in learning more about finance.
You are wrong here. And it's ok. We all start somewhere!
@A_May_MD@Biohazard3737 You are absolutely correct from a scientific point of view. But perhaps incorrect in terms of market demands.
It seems to me that people just want to irresponsibly drop weight as fast as possible.
@tristan_sudbury@jamiebarclay7@JumboMcMuffins@RichardHanania In Tennesee v Garner the Supreme Court ruled that you cannot shoot a fleeing car. Regardless of whether the driver committed a crime, will escape, or failed to stop.
However, if she did aim the car at the officer. That is a potentially valid point.
@tristan_sudbury@jamiebarclay7@JumboMcMuffins@RichardHanania You should look up Tennesee v Garner.
Arguing whether she was a felon or if she was fleeing actually doesn't matter. Neither meets the bar for use of deadly force.
A better (but debatable) argument is that the officer thought he was in imminent danger. This is what matters.
@TexasOncologist@bennpeifert I don't have strong feelings either way. But I'm curious why you think they wouldn't deploy the military?
The protests seem all but guaranteed, no?
