Whoever scouted and recommended Maxence Lacroix to Chelsea should leave the club immediately.
Pep Chavarría would rather shoot than pass to the five players in the box. He’s one of the reasons Chelsea lost this game.
Wesley Fofana should be sold next summer. Webeck isn’t good enough to play for Chelsea either; sell him to Saudi next winter or summer.
The only positives from this game were Henderson and Barco. Rogers and Palmer were nowhere to be seen.
We need a miraculous intervention after the international break.
.Being humble doesn't mean you never get angry. It means humility is a character trait, not the absence of human emotions.
Make the football comparison
Messi is getting exposed and watching years of his carefully manufactured reputation fall apart toward the end of his career and honestly, I’m loving every second of it. 😊
For years, he was packaged as the “humble, quiet, innocent” player while the media conveniently protected that image at every turn while maligning Ronaldo’s.
Now the mask is slipping, and people are finally starting to question the personality they were sold for over a decade.
Either way, watching that reputation crumble this late into his career is beautiful. 😂
It’s funny how the end of a career can sometimes reveal more than the beginning ever did. Most of us have always known he’s a terrible human.
You’re mixing up “professional acting” with “first time acting.” Pete Edochie has said he performed in a staged play as a student in 1962, which was 15 years before Yemi Solade’s 1977 acting experience. Pete’s professional film breakthrough came much later with Things Fall Apart in 1985, but that doesn’t mean he started acting in 1985. So if the question is simply who started acting first, Pete Edochie did.
Messi doesn't do stepovers because he can't. The greatest players who played the game have done stepovers - they have their particular use: shield the ball while doing a body feint and keep the angle of attack in direction of the goal, while also setting up for a possible immediate shot/pass. There is no "alternative" to the stepover. It is an essential skill and one of the best 1v1 moves.
That Messi does not do it is simply because he cannot reliably pull it off at a high level.
Skills have a use. Misapplying skills is problematic. But spitting in the face of a rich tradition because YOUR player doesn't execute things is disrespectful and WE REJECT you from our global culture.
We don't need people limiting the brilliance, creativity, and beauty of this sport because YOUR hero doesn't fit the bill.
Zidane was an all-time great, but “won everything Messi has plus a Euro” is simply false 😂. Messi has a World Cup, Copa América, 8 Ballon d'Ors, 4 UCLs and a ridiculous individual record that Zidane doesn't come close to. And “90s Serie A was 10x better than La Liga” is your opinion, not a trophy or measurable fact. You can rate Zidane highly without rewriting football history.
@Ricky_jumbo said “I’ve never heard this song before” and somehow the whole house became his choir. 😭😂
This man can literally turn ANY situation into entertainment. Mr. Aura is a different breed. 😂🔥

Tell me his wizkid a saint when Davido was getting married in 2024 that same day did you know what wizkid was doing tweeting trying to shift the focus to himself for the day when Wizkid was doing his mother's burial did David did anything
So because Wizkid posted his pikin Davido can't really???
The day I realized SLOVIDO was an irredeemably manipulative person was when Wizkid innocently posted his kids, the way he has always done over the years. The evidence is all over the internet. That was the exact same time he came online to post about his late son. I couldn’t believe it. It was so uncanny.
So all this “Mr. Nice Guy” facade he puts online is fake. He does something crazy, then comes online to do a giveaway so that the fence-sitters, who expect other big celebrities to personally announce every good deed they do without cameras, can say, “He is better than the other two.”
I’m honestly happy everyone is beginning to clock him.

My opinion is that Sowore’s account is interesting, but it should be treated as an allegation, not established fact.
There is a documented part of the story: Davido did meet then-IGP Mohammed Adamu in October 2020 and presented the #EndSARS protesters’ demands. Davido himself later said he did not see himself as the movement’s leader; he viewed his role as conveying protesters’ concerns to the police.
Sowore’s newer claim that Davido was confronted with an investigation into the death of an aide and consequently backed away from the protest is his account of what happened behind the scenes. It is particularly sensitive because Davido had previously been questioned by Lagos police in connection with the 2017 death of Tagbo Umeike. Police at the time said their investigation raised questions about how Tagbo was taken to a hospital and abandoned there.
But being investigated is not the same as committing murder, and Sowore's allegation shouldn't be presented as proof that Davido committed a crime.
The more interesting issue, for me, is whether the Nigerian authorities used the threat of investigations or other pressure to discourage influential celebrities from supporting #EndSARS. If that happened, it deserves serious scrutiny. But that conclusion requires evidence beyond Sowore's recollection.
My bottom line: Sowore may have revealed an important behind-the-scenes episode, but extraordinary allegations require extraordinary evidence. We shouldn't turn an activist's recollection into a criminal conviction on social media.
