WOW - Nature Index just reported that China’s Zhejiang University replaced Harvard as the top-ranked academic institution in its overall institutional rankings!!

Nature say that Harvard still leads in health sciences and social sciences, so they have good research obviously still, but China is absolutely winning in the hard sciences and AI now. I did my phd in AI and statistics so i know how research heavy the programs are here. Very well deserved👏

Also interestingly just a few months ago, thousands of scientists warned Congress that removing the US National Science Board would damage America’s ability to compete scientifically with China… all these discriminatory policies and funding cuts by the gov are just completely removing its technological competitiveness. Opposite to China rn!
