राजस्थान के भिवाड़ी में एक फैक्ट्री में हुए ब्लास्ट में 7 मजदूरों की मौत हो गई। इनमें 5 बिहार के थे। किसी भी जगह ऐसी दुर्घटना हो, वहां बिहार के लोग शिकार जरूर होते हैं। पिछले साल 992 मजदूरों की मौत राज्य से बाहर हुई। यानी हर दिन देश के किसी कोने के 3 बिहारी मजदूर दुर्घटना में मारा जाता है। यह सिर्फ वे मामले हैं जो दर्ज हो पाते हैं। दावे हैं कि मजदूरों को बाहर न जाना पड़े इसके लिए फैक्ट्रियां लग रही हैं लेकिन आंकड़े बताते हैं कि बिहार में फैक्ट्रियां बंद हो रही हैं। रोजगार करने वालों की संख्या घट रही है।

आर्थिक सर्वेक्षण के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक बिहार में 2014-15 में 3530 फैक्ट्रियां थी। इनमें 2942 ऑपरेशनल थी लेकिन 2023-24 में इसकी संख्या घटकर 2692 पहुंच गई। यानी 10 फीसदी फैक्ट्रियां घट गई। इतना ही नहीं, इन फैक्ट्रियों में काम करने वालों की संख्या भी घटी है। 2014-15 में इन फैक्ट्रियों में 1 लाख 46 हजार लोग काम करते थे, वहीं 2023-24 में यह संख्या घटकर 1 लाख 39 हजार पर पहुंच गई। एक तो पहले ही बिहार में रोजगार नहीं है, जब मौजूदा फैक्ट्रियां भी बंद होगी तो पलायन बढ़ेगा। और बढ़ेंगी ऐसी दुर्घटनाएं। क्योंकि भेड़ बकरियों की तरह सभी ट्रेन के जनरल डिब्बे में चढ़ कर दिल्ली, पंजाब, सूरत, जयपुर गये मजदूरों की नियति ही है गाजर मूली की तरह कटना। इन्हें बचाने के लिए न तो कोई नीति है और न ही नियत।
