🚨 UPDATE: GFT Payout Dispute Resolved
The payout dispute we reported earlier appears to have reached a positive outcome.
The trader has now shared evidence showing that the $2,805+ payout was successfully received.
It’s always good to see a disputed case reach a resolution.
Credit to the Goat Funded Trader team and CEO @EdwardXLReal for resolving the matter and processing the payout.
At The Prop Truth, we believe in reporting both sides:
🔴 When traders raise serious concerns 🟢 And when those concerns are eventually resolved
A fair trading ecosystem requires transparency and accountability from everyone involved.
We’ll continue following cases like this and sharing updates as new information becomes available.
Case closed — payout received. ✅
This update is based on the information and payment evidence shared publicly by the trader.

🚨 AquaFunded payout dispute:
trader says $2,283 payout was denied and two accounts were terminated over a copy-trading allegation.
According to the trader, the affected accounts were valued at $50,000 and $25,000.
The trader says they did not use: • A trade copier • A signal provider • Coordinated trades with another trader
They also say they provided their MT5 login history, execution records, and trading activity to support their case.
Here’s how the situation reportedly developed 👇
The trader was reportedly told that the violation could potentially be linked to a bot using preloaded settings or a signal service.
The trader denied using either.
The explanation reportedly changed
After disputing the allegation, the trader says AquaFunded claimed to have “clear evidence” and introduced an additional argument involving IP address matches.
Appeals were unsuccessful
According to the trader, repeated appeals received the same response: the decision was final.
The dispute continued
The trader says they continued challenging the decision and were warned that further attempts to dispute the matter could potentially affect a refund offer.
A refund was reportedly offered
The trader claims they were later asked to remove external posts described as “misleading” before the refund process could continue.
The trader says they removed the posts.
NDA and non-disparagement agreement
After that, the trader says they received an agreement offering a full refund in exchange for agreeing not to publicly make statements that could be considered disparaging toward the company.
The trader says they did not sign the agreement.
⚠️ Another point raised by the trader: They claim the payout was delayed for several business days, despite AquaFunded previously advertising a 24-business-hour payout guarantee.
The trader is still requesting:
💰 The $2,283 payout 📄 Reinstatement of the $50,000 and $25,000 accounts
The trader says they are sharing the correspondence and documents publicly so the trading community can review the information and form its own opinion.
Important: These are allegations and claims made by the trader. The matter has not been independently verified by @theproptruth@AquaFunded@jasonblax_@RyanAquaFunded

🚨 BREAKING: Trader Challenges Goat Funded Trader over $2.8k Payout Rejection
A new payout dispute has emerged in the prop trading space, raising fresh questions about transparency and firm risk management policies.
Trader @talisman_fx has publicly come forward claiming that a $2,806.28 payout request was denied by Goat Funded Trader (@GoatFunded) on allegations of "coordinated group trading activity."
: @talisman_fx maintains that all trades were executed independently and has formally appealed the payout rejection.
•Discord Removal: The trader alleges they were temporarily timed out and ultimately removed from Goat Funded Trader's official Discord server while attempting to seek clarification and resolve the case.
•GFT’s Risk Findings: According to screenshots shared publicly, the @GoatFunded risk team cited repeated matching trade execution patterns alongside IP-related findings as the primary justification for withholding the payout.
•Trader's Stance: The trader strongly disputes these conclusions, denying any involvement in coordinated or group trading.
⚖️ The Prop Truth Perspective
At this stage, these remain competing claims.
The Prop Truth cannot independently verify either party’s account without full raw server logs and data access.
Cases like this bring a critical, ongoing industry question back into the spotlight:
How much hard evidence should prop firms be required to provide traders when denying payouts over alleged coordinated trading, while still protecting the integrity of their internal detection systems?
We’d welcome additional context or official clarification from @EdwardXLreal or the @GoatFunded team if they wish to share further details with the community on this case.
What are your thoughts on how IP and trade-matching disputes should be handled in the prop firm space? Let us know below. 👇

🚨Another payout Rejected 🚨
Rejecting payout — then breached
Then $100K account over alleged “copy trading.”
• Submitted withdrawal request on 15 July.
• Two days later, the payout was rejected.
• The reason given? trades allegedly matched with several other traders on their platform.
• Shortly after, the $100K account was breached over the same allegation.
Honestly, what is going on here?
When a prop firm can’t find a reason to deny a payout,
does “copy trading” suddenly become the excuse?
What makes this situation even more frustrating is the lack of clear communication.
It has now been almost a week, and he still haven’t received proper answers from support.
He was also removed from their Discord after trying to get answers.
Meanwhile, the CEO is extremely active on social media, promoting the firm and attacking critics — but where is the transparency when a trader is waiting for a legitimate explanation and payout?
Traders deserve:
• Clear rules • Transparent investigations • Evidence before accusations • Proper communication from support • Fair treatment when payouts are involved
If a trader is accused of copy trading, the firm should clearly explain what evidence was used and how the decision was reached.
No vague accusations. No silence. No moving the goalposts.
What do you think about this situation?
This version is substantially reworded, but since it is based on someone else’s specific story, I’d recommend adding a line like “Sharing this situation for discussion” and tagging the original poster if you’re reporting on their case.
