Debunking the Phantom Debts and Ecological Loan Fallacy
My attention has been drawn to trending claims by the Anambra State Government that my administration left behind inherited debts, including a ₦2 billion ecological loan, contractor liabilities, and unpaid salaries, gratuities, and pensions. This is completely false.
We systematically liquidated historical gratuities and arrears dating back several years, amounting to over ₦35 billion. At the point of handover, the state owed nothing in salaries, gratuities, or pensions, nor did we owe anything to any contractor for projects duly executed and certified.
The ₦2 billion ecological fund in question was released barely three months before the end of my tenure for the Oko/Umuchiana erosion crisis. Despite pressure to spend the money, I refused, insisting that it should be left for my successor because government is a continuum and the funds were tied to a specific project.
The money was therefore left 100 per cent intact in First Bank, in Account No. 2018779464, with a balance of over ₦2.13 billion.
It is important to stress that funds tied to specific projects or set aside for particular purposes were not even included in the over ₦75 billion in savings we left behind.
If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning. -PO
HUSBANDS, DO NOT PANIC WHEN YOUR PREGNANT WIVES WATER BREAKS...
AND SHE FEELS SOMETHING LIKE A CORD UNDERNEATH.
READ, SHARE AND REPOST. Save a woman
There are moments in marriage when love is quiet, and then there are moments when love is loud, breathing hard, soaked in sweat and fear and water and prayer. Labour is one of those moments. And so I say this gently, and firmly, and with science in one hand and reassurance in the other: when your wife, or any woman beside you, goes into labour, do not panic. And yes, do not disgrace yourself by panicking so hard you forget your own trousers... dont pee on your pants!. Breathe. Stay. Be present. Panic has never delivered a baby, but calm has saved many.
When the waters break, do not gasp like something terrible has happened, because often, nothing terrible has. Water breaking is not danger; it is announcement. It is the body saying, we are beginning. But if you see something else, if you see a loop, smooth and bluish, slipping where the baby should be, then listen carefully. That is the umbilical cord. Do not touch it. Do not be curious. Curiosity here can cost oxygen, and oxygen is life.
Ask her to go on all fours, knees and hands to the ground, gravity recruited as an ally, and wait for help. This is called CORD PROLAPSE, and it happens when the cord comes before the baby’s head or bottom, sometimes resting in the vagina, sometimes outside. It is urgent, yes, but urgency still requires calm.
Some women must be extra careful: those who have had cord prolapse before, those carrying babies with plenty of water, those whose babies are sitting bottom-first, those whose waters break suddenly and dramatically, like a pot overturned. And if she feels the need to urinate, do not rush her to the toilet. That full bladder may be doing quiet, lifesaving work, holding the cord where it should be. Again, do not touch the cord. Again, do not panic.
Place her in a well-ventilated space. If an ambulance is coming, let her lie on her side, knees flexed, body curled protectively around the life she is bringing...on a PILLOW. Take stairs slowly, the baby will not tumble out, the vagina is not a straight, careless road. Drive carefully. Arriving alive matters. She will have contractions; this is not emergency, this is nature doing what it has always done. When she says the baby is coming, believe her, and head to the nearest hospital, not necessarily your favourite one. Birth does not wait for loyalty.
If you are in public, seek a quiet room. Sometimes help arrives wearing grey hair and soft authority, older women who have seen birth before, who know what to do without shouting. If there is bleeding, keep calm and call emergency services if you can. And through it all, remember this: you will be fine, Husbandman. Keep cool. Stay steady. Hold fear by the hand, but do not let it lead. Because in this moment, your calm is not just kindness, it is care, and courage, and love in its most practical form.
Painkillers are sold everywhere, but that does not make them harmless.
The wrong tablet at the wrong time can injure your kidneys, cause internal bleeding or damage your liver.
4 painkiller habits that can send you to hospital:
1. IBUPROFEN DURING VOMITING OR DIARRHOEA
A road is more than concrete and asphalt.
The 65km Moniya–Iseyin Road in Oyo State was a response to a clear economic problem: connecting Ibadan to the productive heart of Oke-Ogun.
The lesson is bigger than the road project itself.
When a government identifies a problem, makes a strategic decision and follows through with execution, infrastructure can become a platform for economic growth.
Can this kind of strategic thinking help Reset Nigeria?

A man went to the hospital for a small wound on his foot. It didn’t look serious. He was given some antibiotics and sent home.
Three days later, he was in the intensive care unit, unable to recognize his own family. Doctors said his organs were shutting down, one by one. The wound didn’t harm him. Something else did…
CPR is an important skill that everyone needs to learn. This important skill saved the gentleman❤️
A video demonstrating how CPR is done, kindly watch and share
A woman has just given birth.
Everybody is happy. Then suddenly, she starts bleeding.
This is postpartum haemorrhage, and when it happens, no one has time to ask where the drug, tranexamic acid or TXA is.
That drug, Tranexamic acid can help reduce deaths from bleeding when it is given early after PPH starts.
So if a facility is providing emergency obstetric care, TXA should not be something they start looking for when the emergency has started.
It should be there.
As a man, if your wife is preparing to give birth, ask if the facility has TXA available. Same thing if you’re pregnant and preparing for delivery.
Ask questions. Know what is available.
Prepare before the emergency comes.
RT so that expectant mothers and fathers can see this very important message.

Happened to me once & I never forgot this rule of thumb again: unsure if a bunch of eggs are good, get a bowl filled with water, & drop them in gently.
-Sinks & lies flat: Fresh & good eggs
-Sinks & upstanding: Not fresh but good.
-Floats: Bad eggs.
Thank me later.
Let's talk about the Zenith Bank story going around.
There's a lot of fear, but not enough facts. Here's exactly what happened, and more importantly, what it means for YOU as a customer.
Zenith Bank confirmed some customer contact details - emails and phone numbers - were accessed without authorization. That's the full scope. But here's the part everyone's skipping past...
NO money was touched. NO account numbers. NO passwords. NO PINs. Not one naira moved. This wasn't a breach of your funds - it was exposure of contact info, and that distinction matters a lot. Let me explain why.
This wasn't even a "Zenith-only" problem. The bank says it's linked to a bigger, global cyber-attack hitting multiple organizations right now. Nigeria's CAC, Sterling Bank, and Remita have all faced similar incidents this year. This is an industry-wide storm.
Zenith's Reaction:
The moment they discovered it, they activated incident response protocols, brought in cybersecurity measures, and kept every digital channel running. Your app, your ATM, your transfers, all working normally throughout.
Here's the only real risk now:
Scammers using this news to impersonate Zenith. If anyone calls or texts you, asking for your PIN, password, or OTP "to verify your account" - that is not the bank, that is a criminal. Zenith will NEVER ask for that.
Bottom line:
Your money is safe. Your login details are safe. The bank responded fast and has been transparent. Stay alert, ignore suspicious messages, and don't let panic do what the hackers couldn't.
Retweet this thread because someone on your timeline is panicking right now over something that didn't even touch their money. Let's calm the fear with facts. 🙏
There is no single cause that has been identified for what causes Autism.
But what we know , it is an interplay of genetic, environmental and many more factors , this which can affect the social and communication skills of a child i.e it is a neurodevelopmental issue.
As wrongly thought by the public, they are not mentally retarded but Autism exists as a spectrum eg if you watch movies, you'd see some Autism portrayal as not so smart and you will see some portrayals as savants and super smart like Shaun Murphy in the Good Doctor.
Some things that we know are risks (still being studied) Family history ( if a sibling is in the spectrum) , Age of parents , Genetics, complications around Birth. But as said earlier these are still being identified and Autistic spectrum disorder still has to do with a lot of disorder.
What we definitely know is...
VACCINES WON'T GIVE YOUR CHILD AUTISM
" In 1998, A former Doctor and Activist called Andrew Wakefield published a Paper in which where he suggested that giving your child the Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Vaccine made them have Autism. This sent a global panic.
His claims were investigated and found to be untrue, the paper was retracted, his license was revoked and struck off the register.
Sadly today, Many Anti Vaccines team still spread these Fake agenda.
What we advocate for is parents should identify the symptoms early in their child and get them to see a specialists. I'll attach a picture showing some early signs to look out for.
In a country like Nigeria where the child would have been flogged multiple times for not doing homework, and punished for disobeying.
Getting the Child to A Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist helps improve the child livelihood.
More awareness is still needed around ASD and we need to create a safe space and be caring.
Case - Last month, See the Cyberbully on Sir Femi Otedola's child after his picture was posted.
We can do better.
I'd be happy to take any questions.
Don't forget to save and bookmark this tweet and thr picture of signs of autism.
Do share too. Thanks
