So long, America🫡🇺🇸
49 days ago we landed in the USA to follow our country at the World Cup. We had no idea it would turn into the trip of a lifetime.
Thank you to everyone who followed along, and to all the people we met who made this journey even more special. We honestly don’t have the words to express how grateful we are for everything you did for us.
This trip exceeded every expectation we had. We came here with an open mind, wanting to experience as much of the country as possible. I still remember telling my friends on the flight to Atlanta that I hoped we’d get to meet a few locals on this trip. Now we’re flying home with friends all across the USA.
Before we came, we heard so many stereotypes and warnings about America. People told us about safety concerns, that they might check our social media at the border, and all kinds of other things. None of it matched our experience. This was probably the most welcoming country we’ve ever visited.
So if you have the chance to travel, do it. The world isn’t nearly as bad as the media often makes it seem. 99% of people are awesome!
I heard this quote somewhere during the World Cup, and I think it sums up our experience perfectly:
“If you want to hate the world, watch the news. If you want to love it, travel it.”
Thank you, America ❤️🇺🇸
Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
@Rep_Stansbury 67,000 arrests. Violent crime arrests up 112%. Murder rate down 20%.
2,200 kilos of fent seized. Up 31%. 300 Humans traffickers arrested. 6200+ missing children recovered and 1,700 online predators arrested. A 490% increase.
He doesn't need to step down. You need to be quiet.
NEW: Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman reflects on being MOVED to tears by the Christian cross after returning to Earth from the historic expedition:
"When I got back on the on the ship — I'm not really a religious person — but there was just no other avenue for me to explain anything or to experience anything."
"So I asked for the chaplain on the Navy ship to just come visit us for a minute, and when that man walked in, I'd never met him before in my life. But I saw the cross on his collar, and I just broke down in tears."
"It's very hard to fully grasp what we just went through."
Good evening from the Coconut Tree
@KamalaHarris
Ma’am, (can we call you Ma'am?) we’ll keep this factual and review your actual record, not your reboot.
As a U.S. Senator (2017-2021), you were an original cosponsor of the Green New Deal resolution (S.Res. 59).
It directed the US to “divest from fossil fuels,” phase out oil, gas, and coal production and remake the entire economy around subsidized green mandates.
Your 2020 campaign was shorter than a Garden Gnome but managed to work in these gems:
You told the CNN town hall:
“There’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking.”
On Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show:
“We will end fracking once and for all” while committing to the Green New Deal.
Your $10 trillion climate plan called for no new fossil fuel leases on federal lands, phasing out all oil & gas (even if renewables weren’t ready), a carbon fee, and doubling U.S. payments to the UN Green Climate Fund.
Before that, as California Attorney General (2011-2017), you built a reputation suing our industry.
The lawfare you pursued laid the foundation for the collapse of the California refining industry we are witnessing right now
You even sued the Obama-Biden administration to block new offshore permits off California’s coast.
Remember 2022?
As VP, national gas prices hit $5+/gallon (over $6 in parts of CA).
You told Americans those record prices were “a price to pay for democracy” for Ukraine.
But apparently the freedom of millions of Irainian citizens are not worth $3.97 a gallon now?
That seems - I don't know - selective?
Bottom line.
California still pays the nation’s highest gas prices — thanks to the taxes, mandates, and anti-production policies you championed for years.
Flying cross country (made possible by jet fuel) to North Carolina to make a video isn't going to change that.
And those are the facts - unburdened by what has been.
Hello, Moon. It’s great to be back.
Here’s a taste of what the Artemis II astronauts photographed during their flight around the Moon. Check out more photos from the mission: https://t.co/rzM1P0QbOl

I used to respect you. Strongly.
I defended you.
I supported you.
I believed you were unapologetically America First.
But when you attack President Trump in moments like this, you’re not just critiquing a man… you’re undermining the America First doctrine we campaigned on.
America First does not mean isolation.
It means American lives come first.
American deterrence comes first.
American security comes first.
You’re talking about credit card debt, housing costs, generational stress - and you’re right. Those are real.
But here’s the reality:
If hostile regimes believe America is weak, distracted, or divided, those economic problems don’t improve - they explode.
Deterrence is not a luxury.
It’s the shield that allows prosperity to exist.
You can debate strategy.
You can debate timing.
You can debate scope.
But framing strength as betrayal of “America First” is a mistake.
America First does not mean America hides.
It means America leads from strength so our sons and daughters don’t fight endless wars.
That’s the doctrine.
And I won’t cheer when one of our own tears it down publicly.

Congratulations to Brian Snitker, who today received an official Commendation from Governor Brian Kemp for his considerable impact on the State of Georgia and Braves Country!
“So you made $160 MILLION in your NBA career?”
“Yes, Dave”
“And you are now facing a federal indictment for rigging a game to make $200k…”
“That’s correct, Dave”
