Dr. Gregory Michael was a 56-year-old obstetrician-gynecologist in private practice at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. He earned his M.D. from St. George’s University School of Medicine, completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, and held a Galloway Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering - actual medical credentials in women’s health, but zero specialized training in immunology, vaccine science, epidemiology, or hematology beyond standard physician knowledge.

In mid-December 2020 he voluntarily received the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at his own hospital. His wife later described him as a strong pro-vaccine advocate who took the shot as a matter of personal and professional conviction during the earliest rollout phase when healthcare workers were prioritized and publicly encouraged to model compliance.

Within three days he developed petechiae and was hospitalized with acute immune thrombocytopenia (platelet count of zero). Two weeks of aggressive treatment failed. He suffered a fatal hemorrhagic stroke and died on January 3–4, 2021.

The medical examiner ruled the death natural causes from complications of ITP; Pfizer denied a direct link while investigating; some outside hematologists called a connection “a medical certainty” but rare.

A practicing physician who trusted and promoted the product still became one of the first highly publicized post-vaccination fatalities.

Another early adopter whose own body delivered the outcome the official narrative insisted was virtually impossible.
