Friedrich Merz muss zurücktreten.

Vor knapp zwei Jahren hatte ich die Hoffnung, dass Friedrich Merz eine gute Wahl ist.

Ich hatte auf wirtschaftlichen Sachverstand gehofft und auf einen Kanzler, der uns wieder eine Vision gibt: Wo wollen wir als Land 2030 stehen? Ein Kanzler, der tatsächlich Bürokratie abbauen will. Der sein Volk stark macht statt schlechtredet.

Heute muss ich sagen: Die Hoffnung war falsch.

Friedrich Merz hat keine Führungs- oder Regierungserfahrung und das merkt man.

Friedrich Merz ist ein Ankündigungskanzler, der für Reformen keine Mehrheiten organisieren kann.
Und: Friedrich Merz schafft es nicht, uns eine Vision und Zukunftshoffnung zu vermitteln.

Denn: Wir brauchen harte Reformen, die vielen Menschen viel abverlangen werden. Wo wir alle (auch ich) ihren Beitrag leisten müssen. Das geht nur, wenn man die Menschen emotional mitnimmt. Die Menschen gehen nur dann durch eine Wüste, wenn man weiß, dass dahinter die Oase kommt.

Es bleibt für mich keine andere Wahl: Er muss zurücktreten.

Wir haben ein gewähltes Parlament. Ein neuer Kanzler hat nun noch 2 bis 2,5 Jahre Zeit, neuen Schwung zu bringen.
