If they ever make another Hangover movie, they need to film it in Marrakech.🎬🎥
l've been lucky enough to travel all around the world, and Marrakech might be the most alive party city l've ever seen. 🇲🇦❤️
When I was in PE we always took the first flight in the morning
6:15am
VP next to me in first class has his laptop out working
I take a 20 minute nap
When I wake up VP says “MD just came back and asked how long you were sleeping. Not good.”
The entire trip the MD is making comments like
“Model should be in a great place since we didn’t get any work done on the plane”
“Where are you guys going out after dinner. I know you’re not tired”
GoldenEye 007 N64 running natively on iOS and iPadOS for the first time.
Not an emulator. The GoldenEye decompilation community spent years reconstructing the original game. GoldenEye64Recomp, N64Recomp, N64ModernRuntime, and RT64 provided the static recompilation, runtime, and rendering foundations.
I built GoldenPad on top: the iPhone and iPad app, touch interface, native audio and saves, controller support, and the mobile lifecycle work needed to make it run on real devices.
It runs great on iPhone. GoldenEye runs better through GoldenPad than it has in any N64 emulator I have tried on iOS. Native ARM64 code, high-resolution Metal rendering, and modern dual-stick controls make a huge difference.
No JIT, no N64 code being interpreted at runtime, and no streaming from a Mac.
This is the original 1997 N64 game, not the XBLA version, and it is not based on GoldenEye Metal.
I am actively working on full local split-screen multiplayer for iPad. MacOS support soon.
I built the iOS and iPadOS integration with 5.6 Sol.

As Treasury Sec Bessent talks following the Treasury’s debt buyback announcement. Here’s a must watch rare interview of his investment philosophy. If you’re bearish, I get why you’d be but please know that Scott & Trump arent ideological they will never allow it to fail. The printer is on…you don’t want to be on the wrong side of the printer. Just a matter of time before the Fed follow suit, $8.8T of MMF is ready to be injected into the “risky” assets. Limit up
US Dept of Treasury is increasing, by at least double, the size of liquidity support buyback operations for longer-dated nominal coupon securities; The current maximum size of $2 billion per operation will be at least $4 billion per operation.
Yields, USDJPY tumbles
Well, that resolves the debate whether Treasury buybacks are "Mini QE" once and for all

If you're confused why stablecoin cards are supposed to be such a big deal, take 5 minutes and read this ELI5 explainer from @raincards.
Stablecoins are better plumbing for payments, but you'll only get why if you understand how the existing system works (or doesn't) 👇
🚨 The rare earth market has officially split in two. Platts' July report shows heavy rare earths trading at 5–10x China prices in the West, while NdPr barely moved. This is the chart Beijing doesn't want you to read. 🧵👇
The Platts Rare Earths Market Report (Vol 1, Issue 4 — July 31, 2026) 📊 assessed NdPr oxide DOWN $5/kg in July, holding in a $110–$130/kg range CIF North America, with one producer noting only a ~5% premium between Chinese and non-Chinese origin material.
Meanwhile dysprosium, terbium and samarium oxides rose $100–$200/kg over the same period. Two markets, one month. ⚖️
Now look at the spreads 🤯 Dysprosium indicative values were heard at $2,300–$2,500/kg CIF North America in late July, while the FOB China tradable value sat just above $200/kg.
That's a 10x+ gap. Terbium values were reported at $4,800–$5,000/kg versus an FOB China tradable value just above $1,000/kg, roughly 5x. And samarium? A reported trade for 500kg–1mt lots printed at $800–$900/kg against a Platts FOB China assessment of just $100/kg. 🔥
Why the bifurcation?
🇨🇳 Dy, Tb and Sm are all on China's export control list. NdPr never was. The controlled elements have decoupled into two price universes; the uncontrolled one still trades as a single global market with a ~5% origin spread. The spread IS the export control, you can now read the price of geopolitics straight off a Platts assessment sheet. 🌍
And it's tightening, not easing. Per the report, China added 14 European entities to its export control list in late July, prohibiting Chinese exporters from supplying them with dual-use items including rare earths and permanent magnets. One trader put it bluntly: "With what's about to happen in November with China probably about to cut everyone off…" referencing a wave of Chinese export controls set to take effect Nov 10. ⏳
Traders told Platts demand for Dy is holding firm at these levels, buyers "not having problems" at $2,300/kg, Dy "moving up quite rapidly," Tb nearing $5,000/kg with "resistance upwards." And here's the kicker: Platts notes bottlenecks persist for downstream processing, with most ex-China heavy rare earth supply chain projects not landing until around 2030. 🏭
Which is exactly why the few Western facilities already producing separated heavy rare earth oxides matter so much. Ionic Technologies' Belfast plant has produced separated Dy AND Tb oxides from recycled magnets, outside China, today, not in 2030. When Western Dy prints at 10x China and Tb at 5x, every kilogram of ex-China heavy rare earth capability is strategic. 🧲

The market has spoken, and it's speaking in spreads. 📈

The difference between HK and Singapore is that Hong Kong is the Anglo spirit with Chinese characteristics, while Singapore is the Chinese spirit with Anglo characteristics.
Islam Makhachev agrees with Dana White, and doesn't understand why Ian Garry was so nice to him during their fight:
"Bro I don't understand. This is a fight, we don't have to hug each other every round. We're going to war.
I respect all my opponents, but Ian respects too much. It's not something you have to play. This is fight, this is not game." #UFC330
