CathEF, a deep learning model integrated into PACS-AI (https://t.co/XG1dVFtwzN), estimates left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) in real time from routine coronary angiography — without additional contrast or invasive steps.
Performance matched traditional ventriculography:
AUROC 0.84 for LVEF ≤50%
AUROC 0.90 for LVEF ≤40%
Slightly lower accuracy was seen in STEMI cases and right coronary artery lesions.
