@macintogdev @pvncher @olvehe I agree this should be natural behaviour for codex.

[Sam Barrass @thesambarrass]

@UNTITLED2X2X2 Yeah the older I get the less I believe that "nothing" is even possible. I'm not sure how it could even be possible.

[Sam Barrass @thesambarrass]

@shitposts_mp4 2 shots

[Sam Barrass @thesambarrass]

@pigeon__s Meh I think it's the limits. I don't really think what we're getting is a weeks worth at all. More like 1 busy days worth.

[Sam Barrass @thesambarrass]

Codex was using 14GB RAM and hammering my disk at ~150MB/s while completely idle. Reinstalling didn’t help because the corrupted local .codex state survived. I quarantined that folder, reset the app, Now it idles normally at ~550MB. Fixed.

[Sam Barrass @thesambarrass]

Codex has gone from amazing to completely unusable in one night? Something has happened that I can't seem to fix. I open it and it just eats more ram until everything crashes Help!

[Sam Barrass @thesambarrass]

@basuae1 @OpenAI @worklouder How to fix please?

[Sam Barrass @thesambarrass]

Why is Codex suddenly eating all my Ram and CPU and Disk % Nothing changed yet it's suddenly going crazy wtf? @thsottiaux @sama

[Sam Barrass @thesambarrass]

@thsottiaux It'd easier to manage the weekly limit if we had a bigger limit. Also, has something happened to codex? For some reason it's eating all my memory out of no where.

[Sam Barrass @thesambarrass]

@sama These no 5 hour limits have proved to me that the weekly allowance isn't enough! We need more. I've never had so much fun for a long time. I feel like a kid again!

[Sam Barrass @thesambarrass]

@sama Mine is still building how long do we have?
