I hope you all are doing well amidst the pandemic! Things have been crazy for me juggling two small kids, a new house, and... executing producing a movie! Heaven (2020) is a faith-based film that opens in 30 US states starting this Friday Oct 2nd! https://t.co/H6uU9N019l
I’ve been watching the Great British Bake-off and was beyond shocked to see a contestant replace sugar with salt when making a cake. 1 cup of salt in anything is insane. At least in all this craziness, sanity prevails and that contestant was immediately sent home.
@JacobWolf@forddeka@Slasher@PlayVALORANT@riotgames Sounds like there is some hype, but I would guess that Riot is so big that they don’t need to beg. Players expect the game will be huge and it’s much less of an unknown time investment.

Weeks into this pandemic and I’m still hearing/seeing in my social circles that this “corona virus thing” is a “hoax”. And that “the government is tanking the economy for no reason”, “news from governors is a lie”. Most of these folks are highly educated too.
Just plain crazy.
Pretty interesting discussion and accurate observation from my perspective. Game engine + assets has led to a flood of bad games that no one wants to buy. Real indie games can fare significantly better. https://t.co/0ddJawE4YU
The end of Moore's Law... everyday folk should be a bit worried. Many times throughout history a particular technology has reached a point of little to no evolution. Without faster chips, the evolution of games, banking, design, etc is greatly hampered) https://t.co/Ng3vfgOfxG
One of the hardest things about game dev (like any passionate hobby) is getting others excited about your work. It takes time to both hone your craft and build community.
