This is how silly the AI in biotech trade is getting. I just saw a huge featured post about how revolutionary the ability to use AI to predict protein structure would be to treat disease as structure = function. Then I though. Wow! Alphafold has only been doing that for 10 years now? This is what happens when generalist investors come into biotech who don't know the science, sector, industry or how the process works.
@Biotech2k1 Work in biotech. AI in drug discovery has been actively used for over a decade by large caps but obviously capability has evolved since then.
@Biotech2k1@DoodadDoctor I’m short both but only concerned with $MRNA bc a mediocre but positive readout on bladder, kidney or lung will send it to 120B MC due to short interest and euphoria.
If anyone was every wondering what is looks like to be a paid shill for $MRNA I offer you @adamfeuerstein’s X account. Man’s been pumping the stock daily $XBI. Journalism is dead.
@IamLegendfdrg@OverboughtWatch Omg imagine investing in something and not knowing the fucking data LOL. Will enjoy taking money from you. Thanks in advance.
@IamLegendfdrg@OverboughtWatch Please explain how this would extend keytuda intravenous IP. INT is it's own IP not filed as a combination product. Keytruda SC is out but IV IP will be expired soon.
$MRNA🚨 Moderna ESMO Slide 42 Breakdown and BIG RED FLAG
Everyone is celebrating the RFS hazard ratio, but check footnote "a" on Slide 42:
📉 Overall Survival HR: 0.77 (95% CI 0.45–1.31), P = 0.33
• Crossing 1.0 means there's no statistical proof patients live a day longer.
• A p-value of 0.33 means a 33% chance this is statistical noise.
• In adjuvant melanoma, effective 2nd-line rescue drugs often erase survival separation between arms.
Without OS proof, getting single-payer health systems in Europe and Canada to pay $150k–$200k+ for a personalized mRNA add-on will be an uphill battle.
The market is pricing in certainty where there is still immense clinical and commercial friction.

🚨 #ESMO26 | Phase III INTerpath-001 🚨
After an early embargo breach, @myESMO brought the abstract release forward!!!!!!
And yes, it’s clearly positive:
📉 RFS HR 0.58
📉 DMFS HR 0.62
But here’s the uncomfortable part: SWOG S1801 also reported an HR 0.58…simply by moving 3 doses of pembrolizumab BEFORE surgery…
☝🏼Not the same population. Not the same endpoint. Not a cross-trial comparison.
Still, in 2026, should a personalized mRNA vaccine really be benchmarked against adjuvant pembro alone?
Before calling this a new standard, I want to see the vaccine face the NEOADJUVANT era.
Same HR. Different path. And that may be the real INTerpath question 👀

What do you think? @SuyogCancer@OncBrothers@A_May_MD@Dr_R_Kurzrock
#mrna
MRNA fell sharply after the INT-001 abstract leaked. The real story is a design question.
As I see it, the trial excluded neoadjuvant CPI. INT is built from the resected tumor, so patients stay untreated until it's ready, then get vaccine + pembro or pembro alone.
Caveats: both arms had the same wait, so it's a generalizability issue, not bias. And neoadjuvant CPI is mainly a stage III option. It doesn't apply to the stage IIB/IIC patients enrolled.
@iamcrsmith Also a PharmD in industry. While you cannot compare hazard ratios, vast number of physicians do. The perception outweighs the accurate approach here. Also worth adding that Adam is not just some derm and actually has an incredible track record.
