@janon90@guru_clock@ZaidJilani A benefit of immigration of both the past and present is the workforce, so that is an example I gave. Immigrants no longer build the trans continental railroad.
If you are curious about the matter of ancestry, I suggest you take a sociology course
@GideonTravail@guru_clock@ZaidJilani Are you implying all changes in cultural values come from immigration? Immigration influences the changing values in society, but it is not the only factor.
I also believe that it is okay if a society’s values fluctuate. The world is not a static place.
@janon90@guru_clock@ZaidJilani You asked for benefits that immigrants provide, and I gave it to you. Now you’re moving the goalpost? You’re asking me to break down different African and Middle Eastern immigration patterns and reflect on their assimilation into America? E-mail a professor in sociology, then.
@GideonTravail@guru_clock@ZaidJilani Assimilate has many definitions. You mean in your view, one isn’t fully assimilated until they can trace their heritage to a colonist? And you are also saying that if this happens enough, our constitutional rights as a citizen would be upended? How so, and can you back this up?
@janon90@guru_clock@ZaidJilani Yes, and you can argue more as technically has progressed. Roughly 40% of construction, 15% of nurses, and 20% of STEM workers, to name a few.

@guru_clock@ZaidJilani Me insulting your intelligence is not ad hominem, as I am not using it to attack your argument, just your character. You can entertain the other point I made, though.
@yayo22e Oh interesting I see a lot of racism on my timeline but rarely Korean-Japanese racism. This is interesting and reflects a rich and tense history between two conflicting nations. Too bad China can’t join.
@lecoder@BlondeBigot11@X The word “right” doesn’t work in this case, because it implies you agree with him, making you a leftist loony. You should have agreed and said, “yes, those ARE the wrong opinions,” as the first poster used the word “wrong” satirically. Cheers.

@gameskyjumper@IKaggern@OrwellNGoode Yes. This is an ankylosaurus, and it is on display in Canada. Though mummified, its skin has been preserved and scientists could even see in its stomach and what it ate. Nature can preserve things amazingly well in very rare circumstances.
