@IsaacFan1833863 If today Dan Campbell was the HC of the niners, no one would’ve said going second was better. He would’ve realized mahomes was gonna get a TD no matter what, so they’d gone for it on fourth-downs and gone for 2 pt conv
@IsaacFan1833863 True, but here are two HUGE benefits of going first:
1. You get to determine exactly what kind of a score your opponent needs (can use this to your advantage)
2. If you tie after both teams have possession, you can just kick FG and win
Peter Thiel and a group of venture capitalists are funding the Enhanced Games — an Olympic-style competition that allows performance-enhancing drugs.
Events include:
• Track and field
• Swimming

• Weight lifting
• Combat Sports

Been following the antitrust lawsuit against Spirit/Jetblue merger, so did a quick search
5.4% (JetBlue market share)+ 5.1% (Spirit market share) = 10.5%
10.5% < 17.7% (Delta market share)
Exactly why is this anti-trust? I can list many more egregious companies…
3. Kevin Scott’s comments on “ai’s ability being an equalizing force if built with sufficient patience” (I’m paraphrasing here) reminded me of the Trojan Horse
2. Are checks and balances possible with SA holding such tremendous power (even greater after what transpired)? Will be interesting to see the new governance structure
@IsaacFan1833863 We provided the students with fans already, just not expensive $70 tower fans. The argument presented against the 3 students buying the expensive fans is that everyone in the camp should be “equal”. The scholarship student has low social-economic status.
Leading a summer camp in Boston, and 3 high school students (out of 30) bought $70 fans because the dorms aren’t air conditioned (plus the fans provided were inadequate). Other leaders think this is problematic as there may be students who can’t afford them (on scholarship)…
