@ThePrimeagen Actually pretty annoying. Also recently started noticing my gh auth not staying logged in when using Codex. I wonder if Iโm being signed out some how.
@thsottiaux Yeah thatโs not exactly what happened. Same plan but purchased $300 in credit to finish out a massive refactor and it was all gone in 83 seconds, Nicholas Cage style.

@OpenAI support is frustrating to deal with. We keep going in circles and honestly concerning.
It feels like this isn't an actual human but instead an agent with the Explain Like I'm Five skill enabled. Highly frustrating and unprofessional.

@Mr_nexpo Iโve been going in circles with @OpenAI support to try and figure this out. Itโs going nowhere and I feel like Iโm being gaslit.

๐จ OpenAIโs Usage Limits Are Getting WORSE.
Tibo announced a global reset for paid ChatGPT users yesterday. Since then, people have been reporting unusually fast usage depletion.
I tested it myself: 2 questions cost me 58% of my 5-hour limit.
Usage was already a problem. Now it feels even worse.

The saga continues.
Is my response snarky? Yes only because this is the third reply asking for proof of credit consumption and purchase. Which honestly if @OpenAI can't looks at their logs to see I purchased $170 worth of credits not even 4 hours earlier and suddenly all got used up is highly concerning.
I kicked it off and it was done 83 seconds later. I severely limited Codex now so that I can continue working and on 5.6 Sol/Luna.
I already have an intense global agents.md prompt that is supposed to cut the crap (for the most part it does) but this takes it to an extreme step further.
Pretty sure @OpenAI support is actually ran by agents.
I ask for an investigation as to why Codex decided to blow my weekly usage and credits in 83 seconds. Instead they are deflecting and not answering the question.
It seems like they are unable to investigate which is concerning given the compliance nature.
Hey thanks for taking a look!
Unfortunately can't DM, but I can tell you that I was working on a refractor of something in my homelab (it's been goaled and running for at least a day). I knew my limit was up and used a banked reset then I purchased $150 tokens so I can leave for the day while Codex did it's thing.
Not even an hour before I got to work all the usage was used up.
This is what Codex said for investigation (attached image).
Somehow looped through the entire context 20 times with no output. It spawned off the agents and it's just message sent repeating. So I don't know what the heck it was doing. That's why I need an investigation because if it's something I did or didn't do I'd like to know.
Or if this because Codex went rogue and it's a bug then OpenAI should know about it.
The saga continues.

Omarchy 4.0.5 has been released. Another big batch of fixes, tweaks, and dependency updates. We're still hard at work on the next major update with new features, apps, and aesthetics! https://t.co/M2az8B0Rx2
We had a security breach last night related to a large scale distillation attack that impacted 1.4% of OpenCode Console users
We have notified them all this morning via email. If you did not get an email you were not impacted, it was a subset of users who had external providers linked
The incident is ongoing so we cannot share more details at this point but we are working with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google to remediate
In my case, codex used all my weekly plus $200 in credits in just 83 seconds.
It admitted that it handled parallel work inefficiently and it just looped the already loaded context 20 times with no output.
Nothing visible on the app.
I emailed and getting the run around.
