Most people on X are consuming. I’m looking for the ones actually building.
→ 8 years in #SEO.
→ 4 years in Performance Marketing.
→ 3 years in #AEO & #GEO.
Now I want to connect with the people turning ideas into products, businesses, and experiments.
I’m currently building FetchSaaS and a few other projects, while working with e-commerce & real estate businesses.
Looking to connect with:
→ Founders
→ Indie hackers
→ SaaS builders
→ Marketers
→ SEO / AEO / GEO people
→ AI & growth enthusiasts
Not here to pitch anything.
I want to exchange ideas, share what’s working, learn from other builders, and potentially build something together.
If you’re building something, tell me what it is.
Let’s see who X puts in the same room. 👀
@AlDev0 Exactly. Discovery by itself isn’t enough.
If FetchSaaS can help someone narrow the options, understand the differences, and choose with more confidence, then it’s actually useful.
Founders don’t need another place to dump a SaaS and collect a backlink.
They need distribution, discovery and real users.
That’s the bet behind FetchSaaS.
No selling dofollow links. No backlink-first model.

@BeeReach_io Yeah, exactly. DR can look good on paper, but real referral traffic tells you whether the listing is actually doing anything.
If founders are getting relevant clicks and users from FetchSaaS, that’s much better proof of value.
@startupik Yeah, that’s how I see it too.
Traffic is nice, but if those users don’t activate or stick around, it doesn’t mean much.
I’d rather follow the cohort data and let that decide what’s worth scaling.
@AlDev0 Yeah, exactly.
Just adding more listings doesn’t really mean much if people still struggle to find the right tool.
If FetchSaaS can help someone discover, compare, and pick faster, that’s the real win for me.
@DonizetiFerre16 Yeah, that’s exactly how I’m thinking about it.
If someone has a real problem and FetchSaaS helps them find the right product faster, that’s a win.
I’d rather see better matches, repeat visits, and real referral clicks than just bigger listing or backlink numbers.
That’s exactly the challenge.
I don’t want FetchSaaS category pages to be generic “50 tools in X” pages. The plan is to build them around real questions, use cases, alternatives, and problems people are already searching for — then support them with SEO, internal discovery, social, and founder distribution.
If a category page doesn’t answer something useful, it probably shouldn’t exist.
@dpascoaa Yeah, exactly. That’s the simplest test for me.
If Google disappeared tomorrow, would people still have a reason to come back?
That’s what I want to build with FetchSaaS — something useful on its own, not something that only works because it ranks.
@simplydt Exactly. DR can be a useful signal, but it’s not the outcome.
If FetchSaaS can consistently send founders relevant referral clicks from people already looking for software, that’s far more meaningful than adding a few points to a third-party metric.
@MrrrOzi Haha, exactly 😄
Visibility gets you noticed. Distribution gets you considered. Revenue proves the relationship was worth starting.
That’s the journey I want FetchSaaS to support.
Agreed — that’s a better distinction.
FetchSaaS doesn’t need to close the sale on-platform. Its job is to create qualified discovery and intent, then send the right user to the founder.
So the early proof is clicks, referrals, comparisons, and high-intent traffic. Revenue is the downstream validation.
@i_mika_el Exactly. Founders don’t need another vanity metric—they need traction.
If a directory can’t help drive users, signups, demos, or revenue, then the backlink is just decoration.
That’s the standard I’m holding FetchSaaS to.
@KiranJoshi05 Agreed. Founders should prove there’s demand before over-investing in link building.
Content, community, partnerships, targeted ads, and direct outreach can tell you much faster whether people actually care.
Backlinks should amplify distribution — not substitute for it.
@ArjunFrancis That’s fair.
A profile page doesn’t create momentum on its own. The first real value comes when a founder can point to actual clicks, demos, signups or revenue coming through the platform.
That’s the bar I want FetchSaaS to reach.
@MrrrOzi Exactly. Founders don’t win because they collected more backlinks.
They win when visibility turns into users, users turn into revenue, and revenue turns into repeatable growth.
That’s the part I want FetchSaaS to help with.
@jbellware Exactly. Traffic is easy to celebrate, but qualified demand is what matters.
If FetchSaaS can consistently move the right users from discovery → evaluation → product click → customer, that’s a much stronger moat than rankings or DR alone.
