Every day, I make a yummy fruity smoothie bowl. It includes root ginger. Today it tasted OFF. I just realised why. Yesterday, I used half a big garlic clove in dinner and put the other half in the fridge. Today, without my glasses, I included that bit of “ginger”. 🤢

I became a passionate (if a little unorthodox) grower of garden vegetables this summer! I’m in awe of the fact that they did so well! I grew giant courgettes, a broccoli jungle, juicy beetroot, carrots like mandrake roots… and my dinosaur kale is still going strong! 💚

Staying young at 60: running in nature is functional exercise - and fun! The uneven ground is a training aid. Alternate forward motion with backward and sideways movement to encourage balance and stability.
