@base camp is the BEST in-person crypto event a founder could experience in 2024, here's why 👇：

- The best ideas are emerged when smartest minds converge, base did exactly that and arranged the meet up between some of the smartest EVM builders, I have personally been inspired by @jasonbadeaux from @daylightenergy on how to create sustainable real world use-cases, @sternhenri from @privy_io on how to appeal to customers without "selling to them", @benleventhal from @blackbird on how to utilize new internet substrate to maximize profits for traditional industry, @thattallguy from @seedclub on connecting trends with users & handing consumer the trend button etc etc.... It's honestly been a humbling learning session, realising why certain founders are just S tier & you immediately know it within 5 mins.
- Casual environment for souls to bound, I'm just poking the unspoken common sense here but the best synergies are always explored when people are touching grass together rather than a 5-min bar chat.
- The most down-to earth & accessible ecosystem I've seen. I sat down during the opening speech and is immediately surrounded by base folks, I go around for dinner running into base folks etc etc... bullish.@juandoleal @BobbyThakkar @luca_curran @jessepollak Thx for literally being everywhere!
- Minimized shilling, I'd estimate the entire cost of the event to be ~$500-600k. With little sponsors outside, to put out a gathering like this for ~400 builders is INSANE, thank you base !
- Last but not least, everyone you meet here is super, giga friendly. I've got relationship advices & family bonding tips over dinner from lads that are more experienced that I am, honestly a blast.

Base is the only L2 that I've seen which combines pragmatism with culture while putting BUIDLers and Consumers first, can not be more bullish on the ecosystem.
