@MinOfPower Lamka (Churachandpur) in Manipur has been enduring a continuous power outage for six days, causing immense inconvenience to local residents.

The power supply disruption began on June 8 when a major incident occurred, resulting in the collapse of a significant power supply tower. This incident has severely impacted electricity distribution across various parts of Lamka (Churachandpur).

The community was taken aback by the unexpected severity of the situation, particularly considering the inclement weather conditions. Speculation has emerged regarding potential causes for the collapse, including the possibility of missing nuts and bolts.

Compounding the challenges, the 132kV line from Khengjang-Kamkching is experiencing communication issues, further hindering incoming calls in the affected areas. This situation has exacerbated the difficulties faced by Lamka (Churachandpur) residents, who are enduring prolonged power outages.

Even after the visit of the Home Minister of India, Amit Shah, the meitei mob and arambai teengol continue to burn down kuki villages till today.
Unsurprisingly, the CM N. Biren Singh doesn't take a single step to contain them(meitei mob and Arambai Teengol) yet.

It is also important to note that, this happened after the meitei community of Delhi protested for peace in the capital.

FRESH ATTACK ON ZOMI-KUKI VILLAGES BY THE MEITEI MILITANTS. OUR AUNTY WAS SHOT AT THE CHEST WHILE SHE WAS PRAYING IN THE CHURCH.

At around 0400 hours, Radical Meitei's valley based insurgent groups dressed up in Military garb and driving military vehicles, came to Khoken Zomi-Kuki village which lies in the boundary between Kangpokpi District and Imphal district. The villagers believing that security force personnel are going to conduct combing operations (t's not a disguise combing mission. It was a direct attack.), co-operated and moved away to let the security forces perform their duty. Abruptly, the Radical Meitei's in military garb attacked the village and injured 2 persons out of which 1 succumbed to his injuries at the time of writing this message. GR who were performing duty nearby reached the village and engaged in a firefight with the Radical Meitei's. Their timely arrival avoided a bloodbath as there were women and children in the village. One CO of the 9th sector also reached the spot along with his escorts.

The cases of injury/death are expected to grow as the village has been secured and the search is ongoing for some missing villagers

The Chief of Meitei Leepun, Pramot Singh, claims to have data from the 2021 census, but it's important to note that the 2021 Census of India, also known as the 16th Indian Census, has been postponed until October 2023.

The last census conducted by the government was the 15th Census in 2011, so it's unclear which census Pramot Singh is referring to. There is a possibility that the Meitei Leepun and Arambai Tenggol conducted a separate census with the approval of CM Biren Singh???(who is the head of these Meitei militant groups).

We have noticed that houses belonging to Zomi-Kuki people were marked in red prior to the arson and ethnic cleansing, and these houses were specifically targeted by Meitei militants. This strongly suggests that the ongoing violence against the Zomi-Kuki tribes was pre-planned and well-executed by radical Meitei Militants (Arambai Tenggol & Meitei Leepun).

A thorough investigation is necessary to uncover the truth, and justice must prevail. It has become impossible for us to coexist with the radical Meiteis, and we demand a separate administration for the safety and well-being of our Zomi-Kuki community.

The chief of Meitei Leepun, Pramod Singh, has unjustly labeled the Zomi-Kuki Tribes as outsiders, tenants, and illegal immigrants, disregarding our equal status as Indian citizens.

During his interview, he openly displayed the deep-rooted hatred that Radical Meitei's hold towards the Zomi-Kuki people, providing a clear motive for the ongoing violence and ethnic cleansing against our community.

Furthermore, he claimed that CM Biren is actively advocating for the interests and rights of the Radical Meitei's, which has led to their admiration towards him and Worship him. This strongly suggests that CM Biren Singh is the mastermind behind the current wave of arson and ethnic cleansing targeting the Zomi-Kuki tribes.

Amidst the false allegations and threats aimed at wiping out the entire Zomi-Kuki tribes, we find ourselves living in constant fear and insecurity under the current Government. It has become evident that a separate administration is the only viable solution to ensure our safety and protect our community.

Meitei Leepun Chief, Pramot Singh, was nervous when asked, "How many percentages of Kukis are illegal?" He responded: “Most of them are.” It's sad to know that Meiteis have been brainwashed all along, for the past decades, that result in the ethnic cleansing of Zomi-Kukis. Their acts of inhumanity know no bounds, as they show no mercy towards women, innocent children, and even senior citizens.

To what extent will the Radical Meitei's manipulate facts and spread false propaganda? If they genuinely seek peace, they should acknowledge the inexcusable violence inflicted upon an innocent child. A 5-year-old Kuki child was shot and burnt alive by suspected Meitei militants, yet their response is shamefully lacking empathy.

Disregarding the value of human life, a RADICAL MEITEI Facebook page has deceitfully portrayed the incident as the child's attempt to burn houses and harass Meitei civilians. This level of distortion is deeply disturbing.

Bhagat Oinam, professor at centre for philosophy, JNU stating that "the arms will not be used to harm common people, but sadly we need it for protection, houses are still being burnt ", emphatically highlights how the likes of Bhagat Oinam are profusely advocating and justifying looting or giving away of arms from the security forces to the valley based insurgent groups such as Arambai Tenggol and Meitei Leepun. The tribals have been demanding separate administration only to get away from being killed by such gun runners like Bhagat Oinam. It is a shame that Bhagat Oinam is a lecturer in the prestigious JNU.
