I fought that war not only for myself but for my country... Our family had fertile agricultural land near Himachal Pradesh... However, the government acquired our land for the Pong Dam project. The compensation we received was not enough... We were told that displaced families would be allotted land in Rajasthan... I was allotted land in Mohangarh. When I first arrived there, I found nothing but sand everywhere... Over the years, with great effort, we improved the land... Slowly, the land became productive. However, after so many years of hard work, someone fraudulently sold my land by creating fake documents and using an impersonator... I fail to understand how such a thing could happen... I am over 90 years old... Therefore, I humbly request that my case be transferred to Himachal Pradesh so that I can attend the hearings more easily and pursue justice..."

Parked my car at Colaba (in the lane next to Cafe Mondegar). A bunch of guys with pay and park placards promptly came and said the parking charges are Rs. 150/- per hour. I asked them to show the rate card and their IDs and they didn’t have any of these to show. Later when I came back after 2 hours, they said just pay us Rs. 100/- in total for 2 hours. I asked them why so much variation between the rates? They said they have to pay more monthly charges (to whom is anyone’s guess).

Aaftab Amin Poonawala — who chopped Shraddha Walkar into 35 pieces and stored them in a fridge — has been granted a court date cancellation so he can appear for his MA Sociology exam at Tihar Jail.

The trial has been dragging since 2023. Shraddha's father, who fought for justice, passed away in 2025 without seeing it delivered.

Aaftab is pursuing higher education. The case is nowhere near conclusion.

The deities (Thirumenigal) are so large, but look how it has fallen into ruin.
​Bagawan owns 19 acres of land. It’s not one or two acres; the deity has 19 acres of land.

The deity’s name is Chidambareswarar. He is magnificent and beautiful, and the Nandi Lord is also very beautiful. Everything here consists of ancient deities.

This banyan tree has grown over a 1,000 to 1,500-year-old temple.

​Please share this video as much as possible. Help restore this temple. We make a humble request to the HR&CE department to restore such ancient temples, restart regular worship, and hand them over to the local community. There are many devotees in the Kanchipuram region willing to properly maintain it and conduct prayers. We can find someone to perform the daily rituals.
