Our lovely friends at @thinkredhan have added a second beautiful, biodegradable, manta phone case to their store. They donate 5% from the sale of each one to the Manta Trust!

Been putting this off cuz with everything going on, I can’t even think about this without breaking down. So here’s a personal thread on villingilli house reef, very dear to my heart and soon to be destroyed.

Ladies, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it. You decide your future and what you should be doing!
Today is a day to celebrate you, and I just want to tell you to go for it. Give the world the unique gift that is you. 🤍

We applaud the hardworking people of F. Nilandhoo for their dedication and love for the environment. Together they have changed their dumpster into greenery. Amazing job F. Nilandhoo 👏👏👏 #ProtectOurEnvironment
The decision by the Parliament to acknowledge that we are living in a #ClimateEmergency is an important first step. However, we should not just declare an emergency just for the sake of getting attention of the international community and continue business as usual.
Awesome work! 🙏🏽 Wonder if people will still litter if they knew these plastic will persist for almost 15 generations? Even then they only break down into smaller plastic pieces! We were baffled to learn that micro plastics have been found embedded in Arctic ice as well!
Almost a billion phone cases are thrown away each year! These persists in our environment for many years! We need to make sustainability an important factor when making purchasing choices 🙏🏽
Mindless profit driven exploitation of our resources isn’t sustainable. Trees are the only things working to revert the massive amounts CO2 we keep pumping into the atmosphere. Maldives will be the first ones to experience any adverse effects of climate change! #MVTreeGrab
@husendidi It is such a sad sight to see the lush green on the land been washed away in a matter of only 10 years. The problem stems from associating development with bigger roads and houses. At this rate in Maldives might end up looking like grey dots in the Indian ocean in our life time.
Plastic bags have a lifetime of 400 years and probably every bag ever produced is still in existence! Lets opt for sustainable alternatives whenever possible.
I had to take a photo of this. Notice that bag? Thats her shopping bag. She never used plastic bags and always carried a cloth bag wherever she went in case she had to buy something. She started living in the future way before us y'all 😅
