@MEAIndia We are eagerly waiting to hear about group of tourists travelling with DrChitale from Mumbai along with 60 fellow members with Richa tours based out of Nepal. No update on these travellers since the incident took place. These travellers are from Maharashtra @Dev_Fadnavis

In a daring rescue mission, Indian Army Aviation pilots evacuated a casualty from an extremely treacherous slope under conditions where every decision mattered.

With non essential equipment removed and fuel limited to reduce weight, the aviators executed a precision evacuation including a critical landing with one skid on the slope.

At the last available landing window of the day, skill, courage and determination overcame altitude, terrain and weather.

This is more than aviation it is the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to never leave a soldier behind. 🇮🇳

Really unfortunate, they haven’t been able to resolve GB road issue after years of complaints, literally treated as a no mans land by @TMCaTweetAway imagine spending 6 hours on this hell hole without any basic facilities like toilets & restaurants @Dev_Fadnavis @mieknathshinde
