పల్లపు ప్రాంతాలు, చెరువులు, వాగులు, వరద మైదానాలు నీటి సహజ మార్గాలు. వాటిని ఆక్రమించి ఇళ్లు, అపార్ట్‌మెంట్లు నిర్మిస్తే... ఒక రోజు నీరు తన దారిని తిరిగి వెతుక్కుంటూ వస్తుంది.

వరద నీరు పుట్టింటికి వచ్చిన కూతురిలాంటిది.
తనకు చెందిన చోటును అది ఎప్పటికైనా చేరుతుంది. అది ప్రకృతి హక్కు, ఆ హక్కును ఎవరూ అడ్డుకోలేరు.

గుజరాత్‌లోని వాపి ప్రాంతంలో నిన్న వరదలు మరోసారి ఇదే సత్యాన్ని గుర్తు చేశాయి. సహజ నీటి ప్రవాహ మార్గాల్లో నిర్మాణాలు ఎంత ప్రమాదకరమో ఈ దృశ్యాలు స్పష్టంగా చెబుతున్నాయి.

A joyous moment for every Indian!

Chola Copper Plates dating back to the 11th Century will be repatriated to India from the Netherlands. Took part in the ceremony for the same in the presence of Prime Minister Rob Jetten.

The Chola Copper Plates are a set of 21 large plates and 3 small plates and largely contain texts in Tamil, one of the most beautiful languages of the world. They relate to the great Rajendra Chola I formalising an oral commitment made by his father, King Rajaraja I. They also showcase the greatness of the Cholas. We in India are immensely proud of the Cholas, their culture and their maritime prowess.

I thank the Government of the Netherlands and Leiden University in particular, where the Copper Plates were kept since the mid-19th century.

I was in Hyderabad yesterday to address the Telangana Rising Global Summit.

Apart from the privilege of interacting with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy Garu, on the subject of the Vision 2047 plan for the state, it was an unexpected surprise to be able to finally meet Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu..

The man is a legend, but what makes him truly endearing are his humility and genuine curiosity.

It was a powerful reminder that these two traits: curiosity to learn and humility to listen, are the bedrock of enduring success in any field, from film to business to policy
