Interesting article in JAMA looking at association between food insecurity and migraines in nationally representative sample of 14, 786 US young adults ages 24 to 32. Prevalence of migraine was higher among food-insecure vs food-secure individuals (23.9% vs 13.6%, p < 0.001).

Food-insecure individuals also had greater odds of migraines. We should maybe consider screening for food insecurity as contributor to migraine exacerbation as suggested by authors.
