@south_railway can you explain why on the weekend of the London marathon I am unable to get a train from West Byfleet to Waterloo and have to get a bus replacement to weybridge? This is beyond poor planning
@SW_Help You sent this tweet 15 mins ago and have just sent an email saying taxis are allowed. What is going on with the communications?? Also the original disruption was between Woking and West Byfleet while the latest is Basingstoke to Surbiton which is a slightly larger area.
@SW_Help Unfortunately that would mean I miss my first few meetings of the day so is not an option. With yet another round of upcoming strikes it would be nice when there is meant to be a usual service that trains were actually running.
@BrittanyFerries can you let me know when you will be refunding the difference in cost after you cancelled my original sailing? I emailed yesterday but have not even received an acknowledgment
@BrittanyFerries notifying that you will not be running the fast cat service this year after having just taken payment and then suggesting amending to alternatives which are unsurprisingly mostly booked up for May half term is not particularly helpful.
@SW_Help every train I got yesterday was delayed. In the morning the 8.07 from HER was cancelled. In the evening I was an hour late getting to GLD and only managed to get there via taxi from WOK. Then the 10.38 from GLD to WOK was 10 mins late so missed connection to WBY.
@SW_Help How much do your delayed and cancelled trains cost individuals and businesses? The rail industry has got progressively worse in the roughly 20 years I’ve been commuting and there’s no sign of it getting better any time soon. Radical changes are required across the board.
@SW_Help same problems again the 5.55 out of Waterloo. The punctuality of trains is appalling, the comfort of travelling non-existent and the trains in the morning are now take longer. Are things ever going to improve???
@SW_Help 6.53 from Waterloo to Alton ridiculously busy due to short formation and other cancellations. As well as you offering compensation for delays do you also offer for incredibly uncomfortable travel conditions???
