Thank you @EricTopol for highlighting our work using wearable devices to monitor and predict inflammatory bowel disease flares- an exciting step forward for managing chronic inflammatory conditions using wearable devices! @MountSinaiGI@AGA_Gastro@DOMSinaiNYC@IcahnMountSinai
We would like to once again thank @ThomasFuchsAI for his dedication and leadership as Dean of AI and Human Health, which led to innovative research initiatives and the development and implementation of cutting-edge tech. We wish him the best of luck in his new position.
Eli Lilly recruited @ThomasFuchsAI (NYC-based @paige_ai founder & Dean & dept chair for AI and Human Health at @MountSinaiNYC & Director of @HPI_MS) to be their 1st Chief AI Officer. He starts on 10/21 https://t.co/eabCsIbGOn $LLY. Congrats
Ho Lab is so grateful to host @ThomasFuchsAI at National Cancer Center. We heard his seminar talk entitled “15 Years of Computational Pathology: From Humble Beginnings to Large-Scale Foundation Models” and had many productive discussions with him. Thank you for visiting us!
Very proud of this extensive study and the amazing team!
It beautifully demonstrates to what #AI is capable in #oncology and how broad the impact on cancer care will be.
Our newly published research demonstrates how OmniScreen can predict over 1,200 molecular biomarkers from routine H&E-stained pathology slides across multiple cancer types

Paige's new AI module, OmniScreen, is capable of predicting a wide range of clinically relevant molecular biomarkers across multiple cancer types. By replicating a targeted panel of 505 genes, OmniScreen can simultaneously predict 1,228 biomarkers https://t.co/v3nT4mI1yT
We’re excited to share our latest work with @paige_ai on (vision) foundation models of pathology. In this study, we introduce Virchow2 and Virchow2G, significantly increasing the scale of our previous work both in terms of data and parameters, with Virchow 2G reaching 1.85B parameters trained on 3.1M whole slide images. Thread below:
Analysis of histopathology images w/ #AI aims to enable clinical decision support systems & precision medicine but depends on ability to model diverse patterns observed in pathology images. Here, @ThomasFuchsAI, et al. present 'Virchow'! @NatureMedicine https://t.co/fLunLeCdCk
We thank @ThomasFuchsAI for his hard work and dedication as Chair of @AIHealthMtSinai and for advancing AI initiatives through research & collaboration, helping Mount Sinai develop cutting-edge tech to support physicians and aid patients. We wish him luck in his future endeavors.
Thank you @CR_AACR for highlighting our work. This collaboration between @MSKCancerCenter and @paige_ai showcases how integrating AI and genomics can help discover novel biology. Truly grateful to Jorge Reis-Filho, @ThomasFuchsAI@DavidKlimstra and all the amazing contributors
Improved cancer diagnostics could be among the changes #generativeAI will bring to the healthcare industry, thanks to @paige_ai, the first company with an FDA-approved tool for cancer diagnosis. Learn more in the AI Podcast. https://t.co/uS3hafNklD
A #FoundationModel is just the first step in revolutionizing AI for #pathology. But how can we effectively aggregate thousands of tile embeddings for a whole slide?
@ThomasFuchsAI, grad student @GaskellChen & team have a new paper on this. Read on @arxiv: https://t.co/jQwi0n0UGl
Check out @AIHealthMtSinai & @SinaiMSTP student @EmilyLLeventhal at @mdphdcon presenting on 7/12, 2-3pm at the Blue Spruce/Aspen room. She will be presenting her work on mHealth-tracked mental health symptoms and their predictors in chronic pelvic pain patients.
At @MountSinaiNYC millions of slides (pathology ) has been digitized says @ThomasFuchsAI at the #AISummit at @MayoClinic . Algorithm has been developed to train AI . Paige company has been founded . Extensive work with FDA resulted in approval of the product as a breakthrough medical device.
Meet Ruchika (@Ruchika__Verma), PhD, the newest computational scientist to join the Windreich Department of AI and Human Health. Her research focuses on machine learning algorithms to address challenges in evidence-based personalized oncology.
Check out Ipek Ensari, PhD, at #HJ24 at the “How AI is revolutionizing cancer detection and care” panel, 6/7 at 4:15 PM! Moderated by journalist Karen Blum, Dr. Ensari joins the discussion alongside other experts on how AI is helping both patients and clinicians in oncology.
