@OopsGuess@valueplayer8 @benny0122333 @ultraheroinefan Wow, you are getting acrimonious.
Did your parents (Chinese I presume?) teach you to be so impolite?
Not very Chinese or “Asian”
@OopsGuess@ultraheroinefan You should read a bit about Singapore’s history first before you criticise.
How Singapore came about and why we have four official languages with English as the business language.
Otherwise you will come across as rude and ignorant.
@OopsGuess@Mikehere0@AndyBxxx We have always been encouraged to keep our cultural heritage.
Mother tongue is a compulsory subject in our schools. But the ability to be completely proficient in two languages is not easy. That’s one reason why some of are not completely proficient in both languages.
@OopsGuess@AndyBxxx Read Singapore’s history. We are Singaporean first, then Chinese, Malay, Indian etc. We kept our cultural heritage. Mother tongue is a compulsory subject in school. English is our working language as it is the language of business. We learned it to survive.
@MiNHYO1337@ShangguanJiewen Try Chatgbt : What does exist is a collection of government programs commonly referred to as the “Social Credit System” in China. These programs are aimed primarily at enforcing laws, regulations, contracts, and administrative rules.
@MiNHYO1337@ShangguanJiewen Just ask deepseek : does China has a social credit system.
“Primary Focus: The main emphasis is currently on businesses, not individuals. The goal is to tackle issues like food safety, tax evasion, and counterfeit products.”

@RnaudBertrand Singapore was the better swamp (at least for the general population) as compared to the rest of the swamps in SEA. 😆 We did not have shit holes. We had night soil buckets. I was born in Singapore in the 1960s.
@shaunrein Definitely you should continue to post. It is of immense value to those who cares to read.
I also bought your book. The Split. It is also invaluable as your research is based on facts on the ground.
@zhao_dashuai Hi Zhao, I suggest you do some basic fact checking before posting certain things. eg "not so different from SEA countries"
You may offend people unnecessarily and lessen your credibility. SEA is very different from Japan.
