Celtic return to pre-season training this Friday, which is just 3 days away.
Reports have now emerged that Celtic have missed out on Elias Filet, the 24-year-old striker who scored 22 goals last season. According to the report, discussions were held, but the deal ultimately collapsed because Celtic took too long, allowing the player's representatives to explore other options.
Once again, it feels like we're sleeping at the wheel. Michael Nicholson and the board told supporters that mistakes had been made and lessons would be learned, yet here we are facing the same issues all over again.
Ange Postecoglou once said Celtic need to be aggressive in the transfer market. With pre-season about to begin and no first-team signings through the door, it's hard to argue that we're showing that aggression right now.
Whether Filet would have been the answer or not is up for debate, but allowing potential targets to slip away because of a lack of urgency is becoming a frustratingly familiar story for Celtic supporters. 🍀

We were honoured to receive this parting letter from @RedSox President, Sam Kennedy, following our stay in Boston.

We went on the @CeltExchange Podcast to talk through the Celtic Paradox: a club with £77.3m in the bank, record £143.6m revenue and 29,000 shareholders with no real voice.
Celtic should be so much more. The gap is not money and it is not talent. It is ambition and governance.
We get into the stadium, a boardroom where the average non-executive has served more than 22 years, and what supporters can actually do about it: aggregate, accumulate, activate.

With all the awful stuff going on in the world stuff like this makes the world seem a bit brighter again. Well done to all the Scotland fans for representing our country and our people in the best way 🫡🏴
@LeahRay44 I’ve been over to the states about 15 times holiday and have never found you guys to be rude, always friendly and willing to help with https://t.co/okIzeopZa0 of the main reasons we go back time and time again.
The beautiful game does it again. Scenes in Boston have been unbelievable as Scots & Americans unite, including a viral friendship formed after a shocking bagpipe wake up call in suburban Boston. The joy of Tartan Army is a great example for us all. ❤️⚽️

I’ve rewatched versions of this video on what feels like repeat since Sunday morning and it still gives me goosebumps.
I’m not sure that will ever change. The 60 odd thousand that got to experience it in person, I’ll envious of them for a long while
