Switch Jobs regularly
Don't stay at a Job for 5 years. Get another Job in the industry and make sure it's a higher role with a higher pay
20 years into your career you will easily be three level ahead your peers you started with and your pay will be way bigger
A lot of designers are too pigeon-holed in their 9-5, you need to experiment, CREATE time for self-initiated projects, this is probably the only way to stay relevant and materially advance your skill.
The monotony of your 9-5 is not helping your creativity especially if you already have a design system.
The only instance this advice doesn’t apply is if you are constantly dealing with new problems you need to translate to deisgn at work.
Here are the aforementioned documents sent to my DM for mid-level and upper level wages at Moniepoint. I haven't received the low-level wages but they said it's between 350 and 500 per month. They also claim to pay 25% higher than industry standards.
