I ran a two weeks experiment to see if this is legit and whether it works?

we set our target to 25 customers at the pricing points of $14 and $7 (to our existing users in @ThoughtForma) all within 2 weeks

design, publish and market

the rest came from our user base

still pretty cool for something that doesn’t exist yet

we did do a product hunt launch. it tanked, obviously because I’m dumb and didn’t spend the time needed to do it properly.

we created ideapad (dot) live as a side project from scratch, just a landing page + lemonsqueezy product.

i wanted to prove a point to my team and our team collectively wanted to validate this hypothesis for our next steps to pivot towards this space

that point’s proven.

the next steps are to start engaging with the audience, launch micro tool, plan the mvp and build it asap.

this is a far better way of working on something people actually want and need, and will be willing to part with their money for.
