British Member of Parliament Stephen Doughty is calling on the UK government to urgently put pressure to bring the Lachin Corridor blockade to an end.

Joined my colleagues on a letter to @POTUS urging him to take action to ensure the safety of the people of Artsakh after Azerbaijan has imposed a blockade of the Lachin Corridor, the only road connecting Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia, endangering thousands.

I am deeply concerned that Azerbaijan has blocked the only land route for people, food, medical supplies, and humanitarian aid to reach Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) — putting at risk the lives of Armenian people.
Azerbaijan’s closure of the Lachin corridor could create dire humanitarian consequences and undermines the efforts of the international community to build lasting peace in the region. The U.S. must hold Azerbaijan accountable for their continued aggression and stand with Armenia.
