@ParentsInfluen1 I look really androgynous, and there's definitely a difference in how strangers respond to me when I'm wearing casual clothes that could be for any gender vs. specifically mens' clothing. Whether people act like I'm in their way vs. we both move a little is part of it.

@PaperCakes @mummabryan They can, but sometimes they'll always feel a little weird about having changed it. I'm trans and my identity (not gender identity just selfness) still feels a disjointed years later. I'm sure this depends on the specific person but the possibility is there.

@is_damage @mishacollins Also thanks for validating the similarity I'd observed between these laws and certain genocides. Trans isn't a race and I'm white myself so I'm unsure of how much similarity can be drawn, but historically taking away children means trying to kill a culture. Terrifying.

@Dwn_323 @mishacollins @NPR You're not wrong; in many states it's legal to have one by choice as long as it's early enough in the pregnancy. (The idea being to do it before the brain develops enough to actually think and stuff.)
