@QueenMab87 Why? Hamlet’s scorn towards Ophelia and how it played into social stereotypes of loose/mad women parallels well with Taylor’s previous themes in Folklore and Tortured Poets. She sees Ophelia as a kindred spirit but gets to avoid her fate. I struggle to see how that’s gross?

@chowell2000 @QueenMab87 She DID use to be more outspoken (she wrote an op ed about abortion in 2022) but I think the UK stabbing and Vienna terrorist threat drastically changed her perspective.

@QueenMab87 I don’t think she’s ever sold herself as a feminist *activist*, just embraced feminist messages in her art; when do you think she billed herself as an activist as opposed to just identifying as a feminist?

@QueenMab87 She used to post about Trump on social media but it’s clear her strategy for the last number of years has been grey rocking his repeated attempts at trolling her. He hasn’t used her music in a copyright infringement way (like with Beyonce), so what good would speaking out do?

@QueenMab87 Is the Trump voter friend Brittany Mahomes? Because it seems like she actually didn’t vote last election and has been posting pro LGBTQ posts. The number of liberal/leftist friends she has also far far exceeds the number of Trump friends; why does that not count?

@saturrrday @rainyinagarden Cause the tickets were easier to get; scalpers drove the price through the roof for the small amount of tickets available at US shows. I got in the original queue and paid about $200 for nosebleeds, which is less than I paid for smaller artists at arena show.

@QueenMab87 @EditrixLane How do we know this? I’ve tried to find a breakdown of her net worth and it seems to be a rough Forbes estimate; can you share a source?

@QueenMab87 Yes if you include the Eras tour stops (51 cities at roughly 1 million each in estimation.) Also we don’t actually know how much she donates because she rarely publishes it; we only know when and how much she does if the organization shares it.
