Fun Fact: Edward Bouchet was the 1st African American to earn a doctorate degree in the US. He earned his PhD in physics from Yale in 1876.

Also Fun Fact: Cornell chose ME, a Black girl from South Carolina, to be inducted into the honor society named after him in 2021.

I got knotless braids for the first time ever in grad school & I’m pretty sure no one on campus can recognize me with the braids plus a mask.

This is my peak introvert moment. Why didn’t I do this before?
