Why is the MSTR vault waiting to rebalance? A quick look at TickerSpring’s safeguards. 🛡️

As of 2:49 p.m. ET, MSTR’s pool price was approximately 158.49 USDG, compared with the latest $152.64 Chainlink reference price, a difference of roughly 3.83%, beyond the vault’s 1% tolerance.

When that happens, the system holds off on rebalancing. This helps avoid repositioning funds at prices that have moved too far from the independent reference.

Onchain trading continues throughout the weekend, while the underlying equity market is closed. That can create a gap between the pool price and the last reported equity price. It's typical for onchain markets to squeeze prices during these closed hours. This is inefficient to chase.

The 24/5 equity session is scheduled to reopen Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. As fresh pricing arrives, the system will reassess. Rebalancing can proceed when the oracle reading is valid, prices are within tolerance, and the remaining execution checks pass.

Managing a vault also means knowing when to wait.

All systems are operating at 100%.
