@Just_an_oi @marginallymasc @zukosmadre It’s not “mandatory” in the sense that no one can force you to do it but you are definitely not holding up your end of the bargain if you don’t. In a tipping environment you tip. If you don’t want to tip don’t go order services that depend on tipping.

@Just_an_oi @marginallymasc @zukosmadre Bc that’s not how that exchange is set up. I agree with you- the system sucks and employers shouldn’t expect customers to pay a server’s wages. But that’s the system we have. If you don’t want to participate don’t order service from a place that has tipping.
