10 years into the #MurrayDarling Basin Plan what advice does the @MD_Basin_Auth have for @tanya_plibersek in regard to relaxing constraints & the recovery of an extra 450GL on top of the Authority's water recovery target of 2,750GL?
Max Gawn: "The best moment of my football career right now is winning that prelim and seeing my mates run on the ground with tears in their eyes... To share a moment at the end of that prelim, hoping that we'll be able to do that again in two weeks, that was really special."
In Australia, no two La Niña events have the same rainfall footprint. These maps show how much rainfall has varied across the country during significant La Niña events of the past.
For those who think FPH is captured under the NSW water act 1912. Think again. Get licensed, metered under AS4747 standard and become compliant under the sustainabile diversion limit as per the basin plan. The BP sets aside 210GL of water for FPH b/w QLD/NSW. @HorneLegal@NRAR
Why did it take @sr_irrigators and @justinrfield to advocate for licencing and metering in NSW #floodplain ? Ironically the biggest winner if undermining NSW #Murray allocations is stopped, probably @theCEWH , waiting for their press release 🤔 Don’t see any pr from Farrer 🤷♂️

@Rawalak_Farms @dirtwork69@bparkes71 @lizzystottson Water is more important than money when it's an essential non-substitutable input.
How can anyone have confidence when you get 3 different answers on water use from 3 different agencies? If you can't measure it (accurately) how can you manage it?
