@gssp_acc @l3rock DARPA's job is basically to try to get private companies to do insane projects for the government. Almost like a VC fund for defense-related projects. This is them calling for companies to work on one such project, a transpiler that takes C code and produces equivalent safe Rust.

There's also usually multiple options usually including a vegetarian one. Nursing homes you might not have the ability to choose the food but you do have the ability to choose the nursing home.
