@webmasterdave@GadSaad@elonmusk@VDHanson An important recipe for promoting cooperation is cultural kin selection. We favor those we share memes with - as well as those we share genes with. There is, however a down-side: kin / group selection can result in large-scale conflict.
@GaryMarcus Tech ecosystems tend to be "winner take most". See Apple, Microsoft and Google. For the "moat" this time, see the expense of training runs, and how market newcomers struggle with it.
@Morrison19761@teapartytempest@michaelshermer I don't know enough to answer, but DMT is only produced in tiny quantities endogenously. The body also produces "exhaust" chemicals - such as urea - just because the body makes it does not mean it is desirable or safe.
@teapartytempest@Morrison19761@michaelshermer FWIW, that's not my experience. People often take drugs to wake up, go to sleep and avoid dental pain. It sounds as though they don't agree with you either.
@tomfgoodwin These are still early days for the technology - but having a team of bots work on your codebase is going to become very attractive to many.
