I understand the reasoning behind it, but man I hate regulation sometimes - like they're both Elons companies, sometimes I wish they'd let people just do whatever they want with their toys. Let the dude just create whatever the fuck he wants from now.... He's the only dude ATM building for space settlement.

@Simon_v100 @b_nnett When you buy a subscription they give you the band for "free" the band itself isn't anything special, their entire business model is just cloud processing the data for you. My version is entirely done on device.

The band probably costs them $10 to manufacture

@MatthewBerman Yes SWE's are being hired to implement the automation aspects of companies in a short burst, most jobs are being replaced by swe's so the numbers get skewed

@is_this_laith @b_nnett It took me a while to get it as accurate as the official band and lots of calibrating but got there eventually haha. And yeah it does! I had an old band around so made it usable for the 4 so my wife can use it.
