Perhaps this lead to what the Government must surely have been hoping to avoid, a case of unintended consequences? Let’s hope so. March 4th Iranian Red Crescent member (Islamic Republic) shows the ruins of Police Station 138 in Janat Abad, Tehran to the international Red Cross saying buildings hit were “civilian”.

A woman approaches and quietly says:

- I said they were all residential

Red Crescent member replies:

- Good, good.

By claiming they are purely civilian sites residential/mosque the regime are coordinating a media narrative to stress humanitarian damage. However, the lie was picked up accidentally on a hot mic.

Proposals before Parliament would remove jury trials from offences carrying up to three years in prison.

Freedoms rarely vanish overnight. They are chipped away in the name of efficiency.

Juries did not cause the crisis in our courts. Removing them will not fix it.

When the state seeks to take someone’s liberty for serious offences, the judgment of ordinary citizens should never be optional.

Sally arrived with us today after a long drive with 4 of the other dogs she had lived with. She is extremely thin, believed 12 - 14 yrs old, has an ear infection, skin infection, dreadful teeth struggling to eat and an eye problem to boot. She had a lovely hot bath and after a good dry off settled indoors with the oldies shelter pack!! I say it over and over ... dogs are incredible!!! She is sharing beds, settling well, has definitely got separation anxiety but who can blame her after being abandoned at her age and in this condition!!
More tomorrow as she is off to our vet to get on top of her most pressing problems

Law enforcement are supposed to make public order decisions on the basis of credible evidence. Whether you consider yourself pro-Palestine, pro-Israel or both, that is a reasonable expectation.

Yet Netherlands police has told us the secret "intelligence" used by West Mid Police to justify the ban on Maccabi Tel Aviv fans last month includes claims that are wholly "untrue", inaccurate or meaningless.

In some instances, the force appears to have inverted reality - claiming that, during disorder in Amsterdam in 2024, Israeli fans chucked  innocent members of the public into "the river". Dutch police say the one incident they are familiar with involved a fan in a canal being told to say Free Palestine in order to be freed.

West Mids say 5,000 officers had to be deployed. Dutch police say the true figure is 1,200. West Mids say 600 people "intentionally targeted Muslim communities". Dutch police they do not collect such figures. West Mids say 200 fans were "linked" to the IDF. Dutch police do not know what that could even mean in context.

As I report, in Amsterdam, Israeli fans were filmed ripping Palestine flags off buildings and calling on death to Arabs before the "Jew hunt" spiralled out of control. The reality is that there is more than enough racism and hooliganism within the Maccabi fan base to argue they are "high-risk" without making things up.

Yet that is what West Mids appear to have done. Worse still, Britain's second largest police force is refusing to explain why.

They are taken to the streets, beaten, and shot.
Our own people murdered by those who claim to “defend” us.

And yet, I don’t see a single protest.
Not in London. Not in New York. Not in Paris.
The same voices that march when Israel is involved suddenly disappear when Hamas kills Palestinians.

If you truly care about Palestinian lives then care about all Palestinian lives.

Silence in the face of Hamas’ terror is not solidarity. It’s complicity.
